If you have a filter just put the inlet on the inside and the outlet on the outside , just do this to empty the entire pool because the flow rate is higher than the drainage plug
Help… I have the adapter abs have attached it to my hose… the water will not come out of the hose… it pours out of the nozzle but when I attach the hose nothing. I can’t figure it out. Help!!!
Make sure the connection is tight and there is nothing in the hose. It should work correctly if the hose is pointing lower than the drain hole.. Good luck.
Sure thing. Since you only have a few inches left you could get a friend to help you lift the pool at one end as you lift the water out towards the other end. It's a pain but you'll get it out in a few minutes.
I found this on Amazon. www.amazon.com/Intex-Garden-Hose-Drain-Connector/dp/B003IXF2IG/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=intex+above+ground+pool+drain+adapter&qid=1620954954&sprefix=intex+aboveground+pool+drain&sr=8-3
or easier method is to use a fish tank power head take strainer off use hosepipe on outlet nozzle on power head put in pool and let it do the job with no lifting of liner it what i do just a thought need desent size power head
@@diyhomeownerhero5250 yea i get that but i was just offering another solution that all because generally a power head can get lower to ground than even submersible drain pumps i would never use it to empty pool fully but for last few inch there sound for that purpose and u usually can pick them up cheap on amazon ebay

But how can I do that without the adapter ? I have a few inches left to drain and it’s an open plug no adapter needed

Most people don't have fish tanks but this may work. Thanks for the feedback.
