When everything goes right, when you’ve got blue skies, 12 knots on the quarter, and a following sea, life at sea can feel pretty good. But if adventure is what your after then you need those experiences where the wind shifts forward of the beam, where the seas become dangerous, and where one obstacle after another keeps you from reaching your destination. When we first bought our fixer upper sailboat we dreamt of sailing across oceans and anchoring in perfect lagoons. But what we got instead was an adventure more epic than we ever would have imagined.

What a wonderful recap! We started following right after you left David, and it was nice seeing how you guys handled the beginning of covid. Are you guys planning on making your way around backwards now? I mean, come back around and end up back on the west coast?
David and Joshua could setting up nets, and catch more fish to sell... Then they could buy a bit if a boat that they could increase the number of traps, ...then they could buy more boats, and hire on workers... then they could have enough money... To buy a place, and sit around fishing, or hiking in the forest all day!!! Would that be a good way to get back to the beginning?

Loving this series . That kid could be a tourist attraction all on his own . I mean real still in use dug out canoe ? And he gets you fruit , but fresh from the jungle as if he was going to the grocery store ! Bet the changed plans were his parents telling him too cheap and it was for the work he did for it .
Actually we showed his parents the video later and they punished him for being dishonest when they saw that part!
I remember that precious young boy, like it was yesterday, and remember thinking, that no matter where you go, there always, a young entrepreneur like David, out there. A quote, from one of my favorite movies, “Life’s like a box of chocolates, there’s a little David in every box.”
I pray that God blesses, Lil David, throughout his life!!
