By far, twinblades are better for bleed in PVE, I was struggling with NG+4 Consort for hours, then I switched to duel bleed twins and beat him first try with the jump attacks. Wasn't even a proper build, it just took like two jump attacks and it would proc every time. I felt pretty dirty afterwards.
Scavenger curved swords. Period. Bandit curved swords second, godskin peelers, other twin blades and pokey spears after that. Then these dlc swords are a distant third place. But they're new toys so use them. But stop the cap...
combine teh Falx with ironjar perfume to be unbeatable also this is the weapon responsible for me mashing every possible button after every ash of war just to test if there is no new combo :D
Falx will be even way better if you do this: 1) Use the falx skill on the boss. 2) After the final hit of the skill is over, do one heavy attack and this will result in a chain of fast attacks.
Man wtf is your build you take forever to proc bleed. Fitst thing is never infuse your weapon, just use it on keen/arcane/quality and then use blood grease ir bloodflame blade. Also using Falx and never using the ash of war is just pointless, its the fact that you hit so many times that allows you to proc bleed more often, but if youre just hitting the boss every once in a while of course is not worth it.
@@JohnAbrahamExpthe whole point of falx is to use the ash of war, and to get that last heavy attack, since the last heavy attack in the aow is what does a ton of damage
Falx' ash of war has no hyper armor. His playstyle is more on smooth side and not just someone who L2s to hell hoping the AOW hits. You can use Ironjar Aromatic but nimble bosses like Rellana can also move out of the way of Falx' barrage. The Falx AOW looks good on paper but the execution is not as practical as most people are thinking,
You never used the ability, revenger’s blade, which is the strongest part of the falx. lol. No way you’re serious, right? LMFAO Fake news city over here.
I actually didn't know Falx can do that until everyone mentioned it and I tried the skill and the only time I could complete the moves was when Rellana's transitioning into second phase.
@@JohnAbrahamExpYeah, it's not easy to pull off against aggressive enemies. But, if you're going to make YT videos, you need to know a little more about what you're talking about (or if you DID know, mention why it's not good against certain bosses). People are gonna watch your videos and get false information. The exact opposite of what people are seeking on YT.
@xsomelamenamex7254 Yeah I should have done my research about Falx like I did for Backhand Blade. I don't use the weapon skills a lot so I thought Backhand Blade was better for my playstyle and not to give off false information or anything. :)
You dodnt even use falx weapon skill that's where that weapon shines and it hits super fast and so many huts that causes allot of bleed if u are going to compare weapons you should compare each weapon on its best possible way or less you are jjst comparing it wrong
curved swords in general just have a much better moveset, generally hit a bit harder, etc. Also to make the test slightly better i’d just use keen affinity for that S dex scaling and put on blood grease or blood flame blade. Also, for pvp, the ash of war on falx is better. Sure swift slash hits hard but you can’t use it in pvp or you’ll be an asshole and blind spot just isn’t that good. Ravengers blade closes distanced and is an incredible counter for spell spammers thanks to the hyperarmor.
Also, curved sword jumping attacks are MUCH stronger and faster at procing bleed, i don’t think the test was very good. You didn’t explore every part of the weapon.
twin godskin peelers> i have mine at about 140 ish bleed each one, jump attacking pretty much causes blood loss every attack
Yes I've seen it do crazy damage but never used them myself.

The thing is, Peeler and Scavenger they need to be dual wielded.
What level is your arcane to get up to 140??

Falx 100% should've been a backhand blade type weapon

Using Falx's Ash of War was taking time and I was getting hit before I complete the move.
@@JohnAbrahamExpit’s… chargeable… you just release whenever you want it to hit

I was just about to ask the same question. he is not using the Falx correctly

Answer: The one you not using.
Here I thought that 88 blood loss was great lmao

You should probably put something in the description about it, though.

Bleed affinity with Blind Spot? How?
There's a separate Blind Spot ash of war so we can apply it to the weapon with bleed affinity.

Thanks for letting me know I just used it like I use every other sword. It was more of a comparison than test.
@@JohnAbrahamExp yeah, the video was pretty interesting at least, i can see it improving and being something to watch while eating dinner lmao
@mushroomy9899 Haha yeah :)
Blindspot is not that good lol it's just busted and dumb
I just wish we could apply weapon buffs to faux. Bloodflame blade or electric would make the weapon go hard
Would also help remove the tedious step of buffing each weapon
I didn't know we can't use it on Falx but that actually would make it really good.
