- Today we install the Weatherproof Wireless Charger from Quad Lock. They have many accessories available for the Motorcycle community to choose from. I went with this kit as I have the ThunderBox and these pair flawlessly.

Yo Slight! These things are awesome! I have the USB version and it has been working great for the past 3 years!!!
Good to know Gus! I’m loving this! There are many ways to set this up as well.
As Fran stated, the 1100 has the usb under the seat you can use. The Thunderbox, Smart usb adaptor or even the Rebel 500 has accessory power under the cluster. (Relay at times is missing so you’d need this)
The third option is just a usb cord. Works good for the 1100
My only gripe with this charger is the release tabs should be on all four sides.
Great video dude!!
@@therideofalifetime appreciate that dude.
I have one and love it. It's odd that it seems to stay on sometimes even when the bike is off and the phone is not attached, but i haven't had any issues with battery draining
@@johnneal00 do you have the usb, with smart adapter? If so it turns off @ 12.5V apparently. With the Thunderbox it turns off with the bike. Such a great product
@@SLIGHT_ I do not unfortunately. I got one early on and I don't think that was an option then
Very good channel, you have very good and interesting videos, very well explained. Can you tell me what type of tank cover you have and where you bought it?
Appreciate that Sergio. All the CF I have on the bike is from a company called “Angthong CF” or ACF
You can order direct from them @

You are the man , thank you so much bro 💙💙💙💙🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️
Good Video SLIGHT_ You mention using the Thunderbox on your Rebel. I also use one of these, but it is not so great at picking up the engine running triggering the power on state some times. Do you just let the Thunderbox detect the engine running, or have you connected the white "switched live" cable?
@@B0M0A0K I’ve never had an issue with it seeing the engine running… weird. Let me see what I can find in that issue.
@@SLIGHT_ I contacted HealTech, the maker of the Thunderbox and all they could suggest was wiring in the white "switched live" cable to see if that helped. But I am not so keen on that because it's "auto-sensing" ability was one of the big draws for me getting it. I used to use a ROWE P60 and was happy that I could move on from that.
