@@gogo8965yep that’s how usually the Raiju should be used it has the speed to get out of dodge and I believe it also has insane vertical climbing compared to the other jets so doing that isn’t a bad idea either

I only recently found your videos, but i gotta say i love them. I enjoy them more than pretty much any other GTA RUclipsrs and it really inspired me to use the Scramjet to its full potential 😁

Still learning the raiju lol. Practising the vtol on hangar missions and such but not confident to employ it in dogfights yet. One move that I Iike when tailed by a more manoeuvrable jet is to swerve around the skyscrapers toggling stealth mode to break off to reposition for a better shot. The raijus cobra with the rudder is great for high aspect shot when your opponent breaks hard in a turn!

i usually like to engage targets or lure stalkers to higher altitude unless im flying thru the city weaving towers . the high altitude is unfamiliar for most pilots and players and they can get disorientated without having view of the ground, gives more room for escape and creating distance, nice vid

If you use rudder control and no throttle, you can get behind pyros pretty easily. Just depends on how willing the pyro is to stay in the loop. Eventually you end up with the perfect angle.

FINALLY someone else who knows that this jets turning is insane if u use no throttle. People act like the same old gas patterns would apply to the fastest and best accelerating jet like come on guys

At low speeds I've found the raiju to be able to out maneuver any jet that's using throttle to circle round you. At those lower speeds you can use the rudder to climb and descend, which also helps the jet to nose tighter into the maneuver resulting in better lines of attack.

8:05 nah they’re not even good ur just that bad, u make so many dumb and awefull mistakes when dogfighting/on the ground or in that scramjet☠️
In traditional dogfighting, put your landing gear down, it'll sharpen your turning radius. But only do it when you're incapable of lock on, because your speed is nerfed as well. It's a trade off. I like to toggle my landing gear so I still turn sharp but can accelerate to full throttle without the speed nerf if someone locks on from the ground or another plane sneaks up

Really good stuff, man. Im so trash at dog fighting. I can fly really well for the most part. But if i try to dogfight, they're usually good and they can simply get behind me instantaneously and im toast. 🤷

Who modeled fkn aircraft in this game. The gun reticle is not even close to a real fighter. What aircraft has an aim point above the plane in level flight. Secondly homing missiles have a 99% hit window without counter measures . This is Air Fortnite 🤦🏼♂️

I was minding my business riding my new strikeforce and some guy shot me down constantly so i attacked him andbit led to me fleeing from los santos and getting a 9000 bounty mercenaries and targeted by the orbital cannon so i had to bail out

You don t use your rudders correctly bro. And you don t use after burn at all, it s a big loss. When you do left turn use your right rudders in knife fly or left rudders if you are circling to the right., . Competitiv dogfight are the best for learn.Yoy will use water turn/ jango turn, and a lot of merges type and df moves. If you are on pc i can show you

I wish the raiju cannons were a bit stronger. I like the fire rate nerf, but when using them against other air craft, it takes so long to finish them. They usually just jump out. I've never actually blown up a plane with the raiju cannons, only disabled it and made them bail. Then again I've never been good at jets and it seems like almost everyone in this game that gets in one knows what they're doing, so i don't have a chance to learn
The issue is how far apart they are coupled with the nerfed fire rate, there's rarely a guarantee you'll hit your shots if you don't keep the reticle on them for a while.
To get better with jets there's 2 main things to learn. Controlling the camera so u can look behind u and still fly.. and knowing when to speed up and when to brake etc so ur turn is as tight as possible. Best way to learn is to find somebody good that's willing to help and just let them kick ur ass in a death match over n over again lol. Fighting people in freemode won't really teach u how to beat somebody thats good

The Raiju isn't any easier to use than the Lazer, so randoms aren't much of a challenge. It has way more potential, though.
Yh I mean just depends on the player tho most griefers I ran it to can't out turn quick enough new jet best taking down most aircraft however noted the starling still king jet may hover but struggles against the spiral starling exchange

@@MayonnaiseHellmanns Starling is insane I used to be a huge freemode pilot until I became a competitive lazer deathmatch pilot so once I got good I never needed the starling anymore but its so broken for dogfighting
