I started with Glimmer, but learned adventure spirits was my second Yvette Young song years later, and it was lovely, but oh my god that chorus riff is so challenging kudos for approaching that as a beginner.
Hope you enjoyed the riffs! a big shoutout to my acoustic changing tuning five times in the same afternoon and taking it like a champ (Damn you math rock guitarists and your tunings! 😂) Also, I know that Two Moons is played on a classical, it's just too good to not have on this list 😅.
Dont worry mate your guitar sounded amazing playing two moons. honestly I think playing two moons on a normal acoustic guitar sounds better than on a classical guitar
For those of you who are lazy, Two Moons is perfectly playable in FACGCE, you'll just have to deal with it being up an half step and having *slightly* different fingering during a single part of the song (the 6th string is used like twice in the entire song)
i was sitting here going "Oh yeah camp adventure will be here." I stopped playing guitar a while ago but my dad gave me his acoustic so I think I'll pick it up again to learn this one.
Thanks! I double tracked recorded and panned left and right. The mic is just out of shot in the looking down the fretboard camera cut. The other, I played but didn't record as I couldn't get a decent shot without the mic being there. I did a little bit of post EQ and added a plate reverb 👍

God the TTNG self titled is perfect, it does not get enough love
Thanks for including a song in standard E, helps me remember songs if I don't have to tune around to practice

So glad for the delta sleep inclusion! Been playing it wrong for years Ive realised 😅
same! had a good watch of Devin playing a solo acoustic version of it to work out the correct tuning etc
If this list didn’t have two moons on it I would’ve been very disappointed 😅
thank you for this! you've given me some new songs to learn :)
Chon bubble dream is also very good. And their live acoustic is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Forests easily the best one and the most aching

Suddenly, i want to pick up an acoustic 😲
