Hello there, I am from India and I love your videos and reviews also not to mention, just because of your videos I've sparked an interest and recently been getting into safety razors and only because of you, I have found this absolute gem of a safety razor, looked up Pearl's razors online and they are less pricey here (compared to others ) whilst delivering high quality safety razors, thanks to you and keep up the good work :)

Sinatra's contagious I live in Ireland and ordered the tube and then the can of barbasol shaving cream just because he keeps talking about how good it is.

Hello uncle Bob Ross of shaving, I just discovered your channel about 3 weeks ago and I didn't even know this genre existed before, I'm 18 years old and never enjoyed shaving before and shaved every week or two since I discovered your channel I've started to like shaving more and bought my first DE safety razor which it costed me 60 egp from Amazon which is 2 us dollars I'm sure that price is pretty much unreal but I'm from Egypt and the razor was a local brand
I don't know if the razor is good or not but it's doing it's job and I only got a couple of nicks so not bad for a beginner thanks to u (:

Update on my journey using the 2 dollars safety razor, I shaved for the third time and I had terrible razor burns and gave myself more than 3 nicks 1 at the sideburns area which indicates how much of a beginner I am, I don't know if the razor blade is to aggressive or is it the razor itself, also the after shave burns like hell.

Great review! I have the PF closed comb and it is such a good, reliable razor. Well made, a satisfying heft to it, and the price (even with postage to Aotearoa) is hard to beat. I also have to say that the customer service and communication I received from Pearl was top notch.

I recently got some Osage Rub and can understand why you love it. I didn't realize it was eucalyptus too, which I love, great pick up and definitely welcome in the summer.

I've tried the Willy's blades in a few razors with excellent results. Good Platinum coated blade.

Hey SL! Always enjoy your videos! I’d recommend giving the Willy’s a try, I bought a Pearl Travel Razor recently when I was visiting family in India, and I used those while I was there, they’re actually not bad! Gave me solid shaves! Maybe with a razor you’re comfortable with! Cheers!
My Pearl Flexi closed comb is amazing. Might have to try this one. Hoping that they consider an adjustable slant. Although I don't think any razor can beat the Flexi as is.
Great shave Sinatra. Willy's are indeed made in India. Fairly balanced blades, in my opinion.
Pretty sure you should hold the styptic there with some pressure. Thats how it helps me
Yes. Soap can make a lot of difference in bladefeel. I have the best experience with Proraso and the worse with Palmolive. Especially, as I usually shave with a Muhle R41 GS, that is important. With a mild razor (like the Feather AS-D2), the quality of soap seems to be less important.

Be interesting to try same razor & blade combo with like PAA CK6 soap to see if you get any nicks. I’m thinking it will make a difference. Enjoy your videos💈

in german you could say that we call it razoring (rasieren), razor (Rasierer)
