Without the private sector it would be very hard to do corruption in the public sector. Private sector are enablers, thanks for this content. Finally someone is telling a balanced story
They do not enablers, they are the masters of corruption. Ask yourself why the politicians are never as rich as the people in private sector? because their corruption benefits the private sector. They are paid for by the private sector, the private sector is so corrupt they can actually influence policy change because the president and the politicians are just employees employed by the private sector to do their dirty work and bare all the backlash that comes with it.
South Africa needs a massive cultural shift regarding corruption. And it all keeps coming back to the dysfunctional police and justice system. If we can het those 2 sectors of government running at a high standard that would help solve many issues.
Iyoo! I loughed all my back slashed out 😅😅. As I was 'tipsy' when I got to this video, now I'm dizzy to have just backlashed to fall asleep again 😅😅😅😅. From top to bottom, start to finish it's so hilarious, packed with so much political power to corrupt one to get back to sleep, awee ma!!! 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
As someone going to do an Accounting degree, the career video skit gave me more info about all the job possibilities an Accounting degree provides than any other source I've ever used. I can't wait to be a CA(SA)😂😂😂
Very happy to see people calling out the private sectors responsibility in the corruptio we so have. On the media bias putting the focus on the politicians only, there seems to be some merit. That said on the very important prosecution side it seems to be flipped (as we are still waiting for mass arrest and prosecutions of politicians found responsible for this). Both need to be held accountable. It should not be one or the other depending on the political motives.
And public-private partnership wherein the government gives the money and carries the risk but the private firms will still somehow be really efficient and cost-effective, we promise.
This is whataboutism and it's really bad. Nobody said that we should not deal with private sector corruption but seriously even if with it dealt with it SA would still be worse if public sector corruption was left untouched like it is. On the other hand if we made dealing with public sector corruption a priority then things in this country would get much better. It's as if the video is trying to argue that white people are as corrupt as black people; we're not interested in a competition of who is more corrupt; we want corruption dealt with and clearly it is not when it comes to the public sector. And by the way the same language is used for corruption happens in the public sector, terms like "mis-appropriation of funds, fruitless expenditure, irregular expenditure etc." are some of the terms also used to refer to public sector corruption.
you are lying to yourself, the public sector relies on the private sector for most things. They bribe politicians all the way from donations for elections. Do you think those donations are free? wake up
Watching this video while writing my SAICA exams xD. So true its hilarious, but good CAs do exist. They just wont ever see the lime light because they have integrity and big business doesn't employ integrity
