Great video! but there's a small mistake. when your cortex receives the information that urination is a necessity, then it inhibits the somatic neurons that innervate the external urethral sphincter. when you are not urinating, the somatic neurons for the external sphincter are not inhibited, they are working to stimulate and contract the sphincter so urine doesn't leak.
So basically the internal sphincter is controlled entirely autonomously, and it will open when the bladder is full whether or not you want it to, but the external sphincter will only open when you consciously want it to?

Onuf's nucleus is a distinct group of neurons located in the ventral part of the anterior horn of the sacral region of the human spinal cord involved in the maintenance of micturition.
You made this Easy sir. But a small doubt, the external urethral spinsters which are innervated by pudendal nerve has not been discussed ,because it controls the voluntary action right...
Simple, clear, straight to the point 👍🏼

yes you are correct
It's same with the anal sphincters
Yes ma'am
Absolutely fantastic and short as it was needed
Wow! There has to be a creator. Even to urinate has its complexities. This could not of happened by chance
Creator krishna
He is ALLAH the most beneficient and the most merciful
I don't mean to be a contrarian, but, how does the idea of a creator explain problems like incontinence?

Lucy26687 Yes, click on the "CC" button at the bottom of the screen. It's the subtitles/CC button for videos. Hope that helps!

Just a question... after the inhibition of the parasympathetic fibers the internal sphincter isnt supposed to contract again and close?

Not detailed explanations
You say this happens in toddlers. You ought to add old men as well, like it is okay to urinate on the kitchen floor.
