I live in a town called Zeytineli, right across from Evdilos. It's a beautiful thing to see Ikaria on the horizon every day. My father is an old man and since there was no technology in his time, he was very curious about who lived on that island and what it looked like. His biggest dream is to cross the road and find out how you see us and what you think of us. Thanks to him, this is my dream too. One day, I want to go to the other shore and drink raki with you guys and curse the policies that make us hostile. Stay safe!

Looking to relocate to Greece with my wife and daughter from the UK, so far Ikaria is top of our list, we want to live a simple life and live off the land, we are starting to learn Greek. Would the locals welcome us with open arms? I kind of think they would they look lovely from all the videos I have watched.
That's a wonderful idea to live far away from the anxiety of the city. I think Ikaria is a great choice for you and your family. The locals will definitely make you feel comfortable. Go for it Trekkie 😄😄
