always great vidéo... i wish their would be some English subtitles for non indian himalayan lovers, in order to follow properly some very precise and criticals technical terms... bearing is so desiciv point ... thanks a lot vidéos are alway s good that i can follow most of what is described.... 👍👍👍👍👍✨💪🙏
Bro this definitely will solve the issue, however you should not omit the dust cap. A greasing arrangement can easily be done on the stem, which I need not tell you how to do it. By modifying with a grease nipple, old grease will be pushed out. In Himalayans life time this bearing won't fail 😊😊.
You are a very good mechanic with a lot of knowledge. Keep making such great videos. I would love to meet you when I come your way. I live in the United States.
@@hdtcustoms11188 The first major repair I did was replacing front wheel bearings on my car, in 1979. The bearings were badly damaged. I was a student in the U.S. then. You don't need high temperature grease for steering stem. Wheel bearings do better with high temperature grease. I think, Royal Enfield needs to improve the design of the steering stem. Instead of using a pained stem, they should use stainless steel stem so that bearings can be fitted on the stem snugly. I have a feeling we failure of your bearings due to badly designed stem since rest from the stem contaminates your bearings.
@@MrYaatri u are right thy must improve in quality but few things are ther which can't be done practically like . Tstam in steel BCS then it vll BCS berry heavy in monovering . Instead if that if Tstam is in CNC cut aluminium it works b best . And hi temperature bearings vll b good for wheel bearing but not necessary in stearing bearings BCS thy didn't get heat . But yes if RE use japanese bearings like way I use it wisely have solved thyr ishus
My friend, bearing seal is important for the bearing to seat right and seal the bearing against moisture and dust penetration. You are quite right to select a better bearing. I lived on the Gulf coast for 7 years, never had a rust problem.
Bhai I have a Dominar and at slow speeds I have problem in steering the bike, bringing the handle from either left or right to neutral position i feel weird, at a certain position I feel the weight of frnt on my wrists when bike is leaning . Also at speeds around 30 , and leaving the handle , bike steers towards left and comes back to neutral and again goes left n neutral again. Mechanic could not find play in the frnt shocker, and told coneset is also fine . The front tyre tread is uniformly worn out. Any suggestion what could be the issue ?
If bearings are good then check your tyre pressure or wheel bearing . And if your tyre is wrond out then it is definitely your tyre which is troubling in monovering it happens
@@hdtcustoms11188 My bike has just run 4000 kms, tyre is good , tyre pressure maintained as per the manual, Got it checked at RE service centre, they said the cone set needs to be greased
Very good brother video Lekin Yeh bearing ka outering badhane ke liye purana wala Outer Ring Ka use karo aur bearing badhane ke liye Aise Hamar Senhi bulky Kisi pipe yeah Steel rod inner ring ke upar rakhke Ahista Ahista Hema se road pe maro
I haven't seen bearings "packed" like that before! Very informative. I'd kind of expect O-rings under the cap. It seems like there could be some heritage grease here? Like going from MGA to MGB.

Im only getting issue with himalayan stock coneset.. thanks a ton for this video.. i wil defenetly try this.. just to knw u r using this for more than 1 year..how is ur experience till now. ?
I bought ZKL Bearing (30205 A)today and going to buy SKF Grease . Just wanted to ask you that how is your himalayan cone after you've replaced it with ZKL ?
Hi bro ur video was good...I have plan to replace complete front frork and handle and the t stem from STD 500 cast iron to Himalayan..is that possible ?
Is it a good idea to omit the seal? I think the issue is a simple lack of greasing from factory... the seal would prevent water from getting in. Maybe you should get a spare and fit it in.. Also SKF is not local, be it India made or otherwise... so that should not be the issue... never heard of the other brand though! As long as the installation (preload and alignment) is ok, SKF bearings shouldn't pose a problem..
Sir bearing material quality is not good specially the one which is been used by endurance for royal Enfield . Must be some special make asper cost cutting . But I found skf getting fail faster them other brand japanese bearings . Thy last 3 times more then stock
You'll feel tightness on monovering and play in Tstam and chasies nack and if u show this to professionals thy vll tell u if it's need string or it is gon and need to change
Amazing videos you make... Can't think you enough for educational Himalayan videos. So after 8+ months of using the bearings how is the performance bro ??
I own a Himalayan as well, but not sure if mechanics in my area know this much about Himalayan bikes, I would like to get my bike upgraded and customized by you, let me know your address
You have work the grease into the bearing by pressing it with your hand and turn the bearing so that all the rollers are coated with grease all around.
You're doing great work man
Thank you so much 😀
wow hammering in a bearing with a hammer and a screw driver...where did you learn that??

No bro it's for Himalayan and now on interceptor also
Ntn bearing cost Rs 1200. How much is this Checz bearing?. By the way I have lot of respect for the Chez guys having had the Yezdi before.
You can use a PVC tube of right diameter and a wood or rubber mallet ( hammer) to seat the bearing. Screw driver can damage the bearing race.
I do the same now a days
