I understand Wendy. However, this marriage was doomed from the start. Mr. Stewart didn't want a partner, but a lap dog and trophy wife. He wanted to run the show and make the rules. In his eyes, he's Kordell Stewart and there are many waiting to take her place! He didn't really love her. To him, she was expendable and, easily, replaceable. That's why he served her as he did. She's much better off. They don't need to be together and IF she's smart, she'll stay away. Only time will tell.
