Nepotism exists everywhere. But the thing is, Malayalam industry don't support it blindly rather give somehow(~) equal opportunities for the outsiders also. On the other hand, star kids of Malayalam industry are not arrogant like Bollywood. They are polite, well behaved, down to earth human being. That's why people love them. And one more thing is that even the star kids support outsiders.... if they find good talents they help them grow..... collectively, most of their ambition is to make good quality cinema with the limited budget our industry has as its a small industry...
And also the amazing fact about mollywood statkids is that they help other outsiders to get through auditions. For eg. Vineet srinvasan casted niviin Pauly, and aju Varghese in malarwadi arts club
Also, Prithviraj is man behind Tovino Thomas's success. Some years ago in a movie promotion program Prithviraj had predicted that Tovino thomas will become a huge star in Malayalam film Industry. Even Prithvi helped him in getting many movies. Tovino also had said that he may never become what he is today, if Prithviraj wasn't there to give him an initial push in his acting career.
The thing is most of the Malayalam nepo-kids, are humble, talented and welcome the outsiders with open arms. If they don't know acting they will back down and wouldn't try to feature in more and more movies. They are willing to cast talented outsiders in the films they are in, and make great bonds with them. That's the reason. If audience don't like their acting they would respect that and won't return. And would return in some cases like Fahad, who spent 7 year improving his acting skills. So what's not to love about the Malayalam nepo-kids?

Actually, all the star kids must have got easy entry for debut (some of them). but these malayalam star kids had to put a lot of hardwork and talent to reach high. prithviraj was trolled in his early stages. saying he cannot act ,produce, direct or anything. But he proved. he was the one who directed Lucifer one of the most highest grossed malayalam film. all of these star kids took effort to reach into a higher position. and all outsider like tovino, unni mukudan, nivin pauly, sooraj venjaramoodu and a lot of outsiders got the chance to act. without facing harsh nepotism they got the chance to show their incredibly acting skills. I think that malayalam's nepotism scale is 2.5/10. The 2.5 is just for the star kids' easy chance for debut thats all.
mollywood is developing because of directors and script writers being realistic and actors who have no ego for stardom any actor is ready to even small roles for a good movie
Difference is there is no partiality in between nepo kids and outsiders.. Nepo kids don't show off as Bollywood nepo kids.. Mostly outsiders are ruling the industry. Audience accept anyone who has talent not regarding their background!
it's because even if you are a nepo kid or not, you are only getting popular if you have skill and act in a good movie. If you don't have the skill no matter who you are, even if you are the son/daughter of a legend, you are not accepted by our audience In Malayalam film industry nepotism is just an easy way of getting a chance in a movie, the rest only depend on their talent
@@RJJINTO bro thats not true there are only 4 superstars in malayalam as word in town then how can he be 7th dq, nivin, tovino, they are just youth icons thats it
Nepo kid prithviraj consider an outsider Tovino as his own younger brother and supported him purely based on talent. thats why he reached in his current stardom. Is there any such example in bollywood? In Mollywood there are many examples like that.
We support talent, if you're not talented it's a field out and are not considered so easily. Star kid is a topic for the industry which has only romance as a core topic to cover....
megastars mammootty and mohanlal were both outsiders with no family background . still ruling the industry together for 40+ years. real talent is greater than nepotism
Mohanlal's son Pranav first worked as a assistant director of Jeethu joseph. How many nepo kids in bollywood done that? If any? Prithviraj started his notable carrier in women centric movie as a hero (less screen space) Indrajith started as villian
We value writer's and directors morethan actor's And actors consider that our industry is our responsibility. No need of body show, no need of item dance, we don't buy it Need script and screenplay that's enough I feel proud when seeing our industry is growing
I don't understand why nepotism is spoken about only in the film industry. Don't we see a doctor's son or daughters becoming a doctor. We can see a businessman's son or daughter taking up the family business. Nepotism is a part and parcel of life and is present in every industry. Ofcourse they have an easy access to get work, but they can sustain only if they are good at it. For instance, Suresh Gopi's son isn't very successful, similarly Prem nasir's son wasn't successful. The successful star kids of Malayalam like Fahadh Fazil, Dulquer Salman and Prithviraj are accepted by the audience today only because they are good at their job. At the same time outsiders like Nivin Pauly, Tovino Thomas have the same fan following and status as these star kids. There is a fine balance between star kids and outsiders in the Malayalam film industry. But that's not the case in Bollywood. In Bollywood, star kids are prioritised more than the outsiders in some projects, even if they are bad actors. They really need to find the right balance quickly, otherwise the Bollywood audience aren't gonna forgive them. We can't keep blaming these star kids for having dreams of becoming an actor or director like their father or mother or any other relatives. But if they are bad at it and still keep on getting work, that's not fair at all. That's what Bollywood is getting wrong at.
If a doctor's son want to become a doctor, he still has to pass exams but an actor's son can get job even if his movie flopped, even if he don't know acting.
Malayalis love talent. And the story should be good. I always thought we malayalis always give priority to the stories of movies.. The reason why now we have amazing movies. We appreciate talent. Its as simple as that!!
bro here talent is needed to survive audience will never see star value if it's good movie and acts well he is applouded or whoever comes starkids they will fail like pranav and gokul suresh .dq, Murali Gopi actor author screen writter he wrote lucifer ,prithviraj director:Lucifer and fahadh no words outstanding and Vineeth does everything directing singing and one more thing there is more actors in malayalam industry than starkids
Except some good films and directors Bollywood is becoming unrealistic making concept less films and unfair acting rather Bollywood is mainly focussing on actresses who are good in item songs and showing thier beauty except focusing on skills and realistic approach to the charecter.its a sad truth that In bollywood a conceptless film with one or two item songs will make it to the hit list and the actresses recieves unfair awards as well.
Bro i think you have little misunderstanding regarding the concept of nepotism Nepotism isn't about a person bringing his or her child to his field of work you can blame if a person wishes to make there child like him or if the child want to be like his parents NEPOTISM IS WHEN THE OPPORTUNITY OF A SKILLED PERSON GETS SEPRESSED BY OR THROUGH THE INFLUENCE OF THIS WISH
because of their simplicity I'm a malayali so 100% surely I can say this. the malayali audience are don't like arrogant they always like simple.its actually not like simple the way they talk. the bollywood actors are treated their audience like fans!fans!fans but the malayalam actors are not like that they are treated their audience like their friends or family member not only about the malayalam actors almost all the south indian actors like that so the answer is so simple their behaviour is why people don't hate the south indian actors
The Nopo kid Faahad Faazil considered now one of best actor in india got criticized nd failed at the first movie itself.Jayarams sons entry didnt worked out nd still he didnt proven, only proved in Paava kadagaal.Dq criticized most before even entry. After Mohanlal sons first film victory he also downfalled nd now come up with a blast movie "Hridayam".So without Talent u dont exist in malayalam .Many actresses who got only glamour, packed within 1,2 films to other industry after failing in malayalam are now stars over there.
Dont remember who, but somebody said "camera dont care if your are a star kid or no", its your talent and if you still in it you are good at it. Like Alia or Ranbir they are amazing and if somebody is just saying its nepo kids dont have talents, those people are like those illitrate, no knowledge for art fools. If someone says I should give my business or trade to my neighbor's kid because he has more talent, then that person should consider him the prettiest fool of this planet.
talent ollore mathram support cheyyu ennonnum parayalle. Mohanlal nte makan aadi and kalyani priyadarshan are 2 good examples of nepo babies with mediocre acting skills getting a free ride
@@muhammedrikasrikas3638 nope. Not at all. I liked Sunny Wayne's acting better. I actually thought Sunny Wayne was the hero and dq was his side coz dq doesn't have the screen presence to be a main actor
Nepotism is not necessarily bad if there's talent. Also everyone wants their kids to have a good life(people in general also think like this). It only becomes a problem if it these stars actively try to bring down other actors with their influence in favor of their own kids. That is the only time it becomes a problem.

Even Malayalam audience didn't depends on stardom actors.
Perfect example is mohanlal
He is a amazing actor but recent films Are so flop
Actually, all the star kids must have got easy entry for debut (some of them). but these malayalam star kids had to put a lot of hardwork and talent to reach high. prithviraj was trolled in his early stages. saying he cannot act ,produce, direct or anything. But he proved.
he was the one who directed Lucifer one of the most highest grossed malayalam film.
all of these star kids took effort to reach into a higher position. and all outsider like
tovino, unni mukudan, nivin pauly, sooraj venjaramoodu and a lot of outsiders got the chance to act. without facing harsh nepotism they got the chance to show their incredibly acting skills. I think that malayalam's nepotism scale is 2.5/10. The 2.5 is just for the star kids' easy chance for debut thats all.
We malayalies always support talents... Our super stars also support real talents....
mollywood is developing because of directors and script writers being realistic and actors who have no ego for stardom any actor is ready to even small roles for a good movie
Difference is there is no partiality in between nepo kids and outsiders.. Nepo kids don't show off as Bollywood nepo kids.. Mostly outsiders are ruling the industry. Audience accept anyone who has talent not regarding their background!
apart from actors , mollywood have one of the best directors and singers
great video jinto and yes mollywood is anyday better than bullywood
Mollywood❤️
it's because even if you are a nepo kid or not, you are only getting popular if you have skill and act in a good movie.
If you don't have the skill no matter who you are, even if you are the son/daughter of a legend, you are not accepted by our audience
In Malayalam film industry nepotism is just an easy way of getting a chance in a movie, the rest only depend on their talent
Without talent no actors son can survive in malyalam film industry the super stars are genuine
bollywood currently is full of star kids . there are only countable outsiders
💯
Where is dileep.... even he didnt have any backing he is 4th superstar of malayalam okk
He is at 7th position according to Imdb
@@RJJINTO bro thats not true there are only 4 superstars in malayalam as word in town then how can he be 7th dq, nivin, tovino, they are just youth icons thats it
@@ajayknair-kj4qvdeelip don't have recent hits and don't forget about the criminal case
Mallu audience power
Insiders are parachuters and outsiders are grassrooters. Grassrooters will forever grow upwards and parachuters will forever come down
💯💯💯
great philosophy
If any?
Prithviraj started his notable carrier in women centric movie as a hero (less screen space)
Indrajith started as villian
Always knew u will speak abt Mammootty and mohanlal here 😁🎉🎉
❤️❤️
We value writer's and directors morethan actor's
And actors consider that our industry is our responsibility.
No need of body show, no need of item dance, we don't buy it
Need script and screenplay that's enough
I feel proud when seeing our industry is growing

No matter whether an actor is the son of a superstar, if they don't have talent, they are not going to continue in this industry for a long time
dayumm so much reality spoken
❤️❤️
Love the way you presented!!! Such care was taken to address the issues with love , gentle and non critical ❤
Your forget to mention about Unni Mukundan who is also a very popular in Malayalam film industry.
bollywood only has nepokids currently. glad that mollywood gives opportunities to everyone . also bollywood songs are never realistic
💯
Malayalis love talent. And the story should be good. I always thought we malayalis always give priority to the stories of movies.. The reason why now we have amazing movies. We appreciate talent. Its as simple as that!!
Prithviraj Sukumaran-Future brand ambassador of Mollywood!!!!
😎🎉
3:30 Really amazed that you skillfully avoided Dileep
In this parallel world only audience decide who is in and who is out. Dosen't matter who ever they are. That's Malayalam film industry.
So much love and respect for Malayalam cinema urges me to start watching 😊😅😁😁😝😹
😁
Here in Kerala talent matters, not background, without talent evn the starkids can't recognized
many of them were bad at first but worked hard and earned their success
Mollywood is successful cos there is no karan johar there 😝😁🙏
For sure 😎
mamootty and mohanlal are the op legends
❤️👌
Nivin , dulquer , Fahad , tovino, prithvi 💞💞💞💞
❤️🙏
Very well explained 👍🏼👍🏼
bro here talent is needed to survive audience will never see star value if it's good movie and acts well he is applouded or whoever comes starkids they will fail like pranav and gokul suresh .dq, Murali Gopi actor author screen writter he wrote lucifer ,prithviraj director:Lucifer and fahadh no words outstanding and Vineeth does everything directing singing and one more thing there is more actors in malayalam industry than starkids
Completely agree 🔥
Sensitive audience 💓💯
Except some good films and directors Bollywood is becoming unrealistic making concept less films and unfair acting rather Bollywood is mainly focussing on actresses who are good in item songs and showing thier beauty except focusing on skills and realistic approach to the charecter.its a sad truth that In bollywood a conceptless film with one or two item songs will make it to the hit list and the actresses recieves unfair awards as well.
love for malayalam cinema .. quality industry
Your video essays are good. But plz lower the background music little bit.
Great topic bro ❤
Bro i think you have little misunderstanding regarding the concept of nepotism
Nepotism isn't about a person bringing his or her child to his field of work you can blame if a person wishes to make there child like him or if the child want to be like his parents
NEPOTISM IS WHEN THE OPPORTUNITY OF A SKILLED PERSON GETS SEPRESSED BY OR THROUGH THE INFLUENCE OF THIS WISH
Nepotism - The practice among those with power or influence of favouring friends or relatives by giving them jobs . That's the Oxford definition
In malayalam, We all carw about the content not the actor ,scale or anything ,if movie is good we will watch it .
Vineeth srineevasan is a gud actor
Just watch Mukkundanunni Associate to c his acting range...
because of their simplicity I'm a malayali so 100% surely I can say this. the malayali audience are don't like arrogant they always like simple.its actually not like simple the way they talk. the bollywood actors are treated their audience like fans!fans!fans but the malayalam actors are not like that they are treated their audience like their friends or family member not only about the malayalam actors almost all the south indian actors like that so the answer is so simple their behaviour is why people don't hate the south indian actors
Pranav debut was in onnamen back in 2002
Right .
But that was as a supporting role.
Debuted as a lead is what I meant. Sorry for not clarifying :)
Great video!
Bro in angamaly diaries movie there are more than 100 new faces
... also Thanneer Matham Dinangal ❤️
@@deninpaul7509 I think everybody probably knew the lead actor because he was there in kumblangi nights as the youngest brother
Malayalam star kids are talented. They work hard unlike their Bollywood counterparts.
The audience power
Dileep is too outsider...janapriya nayakan..actor, comedian,producer
Kotteshan
Abhishek bachhan wasnt hated like ananya pandey because he can act
Not Mollywood it’s MALAYALAM CINEMA Or MALAYALAM FILM INDUSTRY.
feeling proud to be a malayalee🥰🥰🥰🥰

Dq too
@@SI_Mariyama_Thomas dq uvinte second showile acting noke valare nalla dhayirunu.
@@muhammedrikasrikas3638 nope. Not at all. I liked Sunny Wayne's acting better. I actually thought Sunny Wayne was the hero and dq was his side coz dq doesn't have the screen presence to be a main actor
I am a malayali, I am against nepotism 😤
Maybe because they're good looking 🤷♀️
Nepotism is not necessarily bad if there's talent. Also everyone wants their kids to have a good life(people in general also think like this).
It only becomes a problem if it these stars actively try to bring down other actors with their influence in favor of their own kids. That is the only time it becomes a problem.
Back ground music is very annoying and unnecessary imo
love your point of view about mollywood
No dileep ettan 😢he is one of the big 5 actors of kerala
