    5:08 what is meant by making contact with a power clean? Bumping your hips forward and touching the bar?

      Hey if you want to understand contact in Olympic lifting or really just the movements overall, I recommend checking out Dmitry Klokov's weightlifting guide. Just search that and you'll find a playlist of all the videos. Incredibly detailed and well presented.

      Tried the pause power snatch after my sprint training today. Ive been implementing cleans and snatches more often after watching your videos, and my times have been increasing. Just posted a sprint video today and ran my fastest 100m to date. To Jesus Christ be the glory

    Hey coach ! Softmore sprinter here just had a question about what would be the optimal weight or percentage to start off with for the pause below the knee power snatch? ( also I am very new at Olympic lifts) I’ve always been performing the compound movements for strength.

    Hey coach, would you use the same way of training to help a kickboxer develop faster more explosive kicks, especially front kicks? Would love your take on this.

    • @namesake7139
      @namesake7139 2 года назад

      You know.... You still have to practice all of your kicks and do your skill training however doing compound exercises like this tune the body in a lot more builds a stronger engine so to speak

    Does making contact mean like a slight thrust from the hip area to help get the bar up? I usually try to avoid contact because I always thought it was like cheating
