Blue Moon gets really good once you become familiar with the cards in your deck and your opponents'. It also turns the game into an auction because it becomes so much about knowing when to bow out, or when to push your opponent to "pay" more.
Love R-Eco. Great tension. Great hand managment. But the best aspect is that the game, although it is basically just a numbered cards game, has a an actual game arc, because of these check cards, which male it really fantastic. However, there is one problem, that some people have noticed before, which is the order of the check cards. If you follow the regular rules victory can feel very arbitrary (bad for both winners and losers) towards the end if it turns out that the person that got the last check card (highest in terms of points) wins. There is a BBG variant which fixes this. Maybe actually in the new version this has been fixed, i dont know, i have the german (ugly) amigo version. But anyhow, i advise to check out the BBG variant and the discussion of this problem at the BBG thread of the variant.

I would strongly recommend Blue Moon City, it's not similar to Blue Moon Legends.

Maybe it's different for non-Yanks, but I was *stunned* that Lusitania wasn't about the ship.
Given your "fire & fury" towards Lusitania, I was wondering if it eked out a massive "2" or a "3" rating? :)

I have been looking out to buy R-Eco. I have played it online.
I love Blue Moon, but I can see how it wouldn’t be your cup of tea. Glad you think it was a good game though.
