Love this. Brightness is a star subject for me right now. It looks like the S95B will be bright enough for my bright room...then BOOM, Rtings say not to buy one for a bright one and its only good for dark rooms!!??
In Romania, the samsung s95b in 65 inch is 1600€ today....what do you think? Should I buy it? G2 is 2400€. I ordered the samsung, it arrives Monday :))
Yeah, I Know what you mean. I'm far from a hater but all this S95B talk gets old. I do wish they were a little more excited about other TVs though. It has if no other TV exist now because the QD technology
@@jackdubs25 Local Dimming is about half in game mode and as stated completely disabled in VRR. Also let’s be honest here, X95K is more expensive than other tvs within its class. Great looking tv, but Sony just doesn’t get it…..
Brightness, gamut, volume aside, I currently have an LG C1 and it works well in respect to CEC controlling my sound bar, and Blu-ray player and has no eARC issues. How does the S95B compare? Any CEC/eARC problems since some report Tizen OS issues??
I do not know if the LG TVs share components or not. Speculative comments that power supplies are shared between models and are limiting factor on brightness is irresponsible. A power supply that does not have the capacity to supply the necessary current will be unreliable and a high failure rate component.
I love my old 80 inch. But my sleep over the years has been cut in half and I look twice as old as my friends. My doctors say my pineal gland is non existent and I’m hooked on melatonin ECT. I’m switch to OLED hopefully it helps. Apple did this on thier phones and to blue blue light at night. But new studies have showed just a blip of light after dark sends glucose skyrocketing. Basically the world is sick in many forms because of light pollution. I know guys like you make money off TVs so it’s the last thing you want to hear, JYST like the guy who owns a hamburger joint and loves it with all his soul. I get it. But dimmer TVs could reverse a portion of light pollution especially the light polluting “US”!! Light polluted many things in the world light migrating birds at night and city lights. We’ve lost a handful of bird species because they all fly into skyscrapers at night during only 2 weeks out of the year of migration. Dimmer TVs could have less impact on our melatonin production. I’m actually creating a health app for the Apple TV and Apple Watch that would monitor this for people and give them tips. Monitor room or tv brightness through the Apple TV or light sensor on Apple Watch. And also a persons heart rate and know what it should be based on normal melatonin output. If that takes off or apple creates thier own version hopefully it will change TVs for the better. Maybe give people the option after sundown. High setting with a warning or low to maintain circadian rhythm
Oled as the top tier TV is over. Let's move on, accept the last 5 years has been all about stability and burnin prevention. Fact is the e7 was as bright or brighter and had superior abl to the c2. Wrgb Oled is dying off now. LEDs ability for high brightness with colour saturation is appealing at the price points especially for +75"
Dude y’all are so full of your own crap it sad. Y’all said the same shit about lcd 7 years ago. Save that nonsense already. You sound dumb as well as ignorant. Lcd isn’t going anywhere and oled sure ain’t.
Sorry I missed the stream 😔 but gonna watch it now!! Love you guys your both awesome!!

So much focus on brightness nowadays there are also a few other things I would like to see improve as well.
Amazing stream 👌🏻
Samsung S95B Burn-in already exhibited in Best buy Show room!!
White can be focused on the sky, on a bright scene, more cloud detail or snow.
so does the larger psu on lg 8K oled like new Z2 makes it brighter than the C or G series?
Hey guys, I ordered the G2 oled 65 inch and I already have the qn900a 8k, which one is better?😁😎
Bro what do you do for a living haha?

What happened!??? Talk of the SONY X95k just came and left!
Local Dimming disabled in game mode, Sony is at a huge disconnect with their consumers…….
@@tears2040 it’s not disabled in game mode, it’s disabled with VRR on in game mode, important detail to leave out

If that’s the case then I’m not buying it

No tv with perfect blacks can be bright enough
I disagree, have you seen the S95B?
@@jackdubs25 ye it's bright for an OLED but we have content up to 4000+nits so we aren't at the peak yet
