Class hit the nail on the head about the X95K. There is nothing slight about what it is doing. Sony older LED TVs have better Black bar and sub title performance. Sony is bugging with the x95K for that price
The “hate” for the x95k is really over exaggerated, just got the 75” as a bright room tv and it looks pretty good. Then again, it is a european model if that is different
The so-called hate (what you call it) for that TV ain't over-exaggerated at all. Sony priced those TVs so high and it doesn't deliver in terms of Local Dimming and many reviewers are right to call out those deficiencies.
I just purchased my first OLED. I came from a Sony X900H. The X900H is no loser it's pretty damn good most of the time, but the OLED just hits different. I wanted to see what the hype of OLED is and now I get it. The OLED just enters another league in dark scenes and even in bright scenes it maintains this 3 dimensional look. Yes it may not be super bright not going to lie, but smaller highlights leap off the screen and the overall picture is 3D it has so much depth.
We sold our H1 VIZIO OLED and got a 77 inch SONY a80j for our Den, We recently bought the 75inch X95K for our bedroom, For our Living room we still have our 2019 LG E9, wondering what should we upgrade it to? $2500 budget.
Shield vs Apple. Nobody seems to mention that a big advantage for shield is they can passthrough full DTS-X and Atmos audio. Apple is stuck with 5.1 AC3 only.
They offered me a 5 year extended warranty when I got my C2. I’m not a total tech member…yet. Maybe if I start buying more TV’s I would. However, my budget is tight. That was about a week ago. So it would be strange, if they got rid of it, right after I went thru a warranty claim on my CX.
I'm looking for are big tv 85 inch is preferred 83 also works only if it is better than qled tv. I have a tie betwwen samsung Qned900A 8k tv or Sony A90J or LG 83 inch OLED. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND
Yea, I tuned in myself during the stream, but my phone kicked me out at one point. So I will leave a comment here, for I will have a 75 inch x95k, which I am hearing it is a questionable purchase, but I think I should be fine, I have been sitting on the sidelines of the whole fald, and oled tv mess. Though I am curious about how well an fald tv, will work. But I am against an oled, due to burn in, and other little concerns like that. I can’t see myself spending the $$$$ for an oled, to only have burn in issues, when I can spend a little less, $$$, but I should be good. I’m coming from an old edge lit Samsung, though I could have the issues, that have plagued, led TV’s in the last, though I am not so sure if I will even notice it. But an Oled is definitely not worth its up charge, at least this year. I may be interested in a qd oled, though based on how well it can perform, and assuming Samsung starts to make the tv, in a bigger panel type size, after building a dedicated home theater, with Atmos speakers, though I am also holding off buying a good Atmos avr, at least for now. But I see my comment made it to the stream lol… so thank you to stop the fomo, for bring my comment up. While I understand it may be worth waiting for the tv, to be updated, and buy one later on, but I have faith that Sony will hopefully do the right thing for the LED TV’s, and not pull an lg, and think of led as a useless tv technology.
The S95B not being shown properly or not marketed in stores as much, its due to LG and WOLEDs already having bought priority for TV stores. Plus Samsung not working out any deal with retailers for the S95B, as it was a rushed release. They have plenty of stock. The whole marketing and release of the S95B is a bit of a mess. Even wrong info on the website.
Hey another 20 hour review on pass the remote- Brian is either always drinking something in the background or he's tired and yawning (love ya Brian)....we should do a SNL skit on brian (classy) having a 15 course dinner in the background ;)
Probably just missed it. Plus people bringing up one off negatives are probably not fun to talk about. Anyone can bring up a reason why they returned a tv. Not even sure how that guy noticed sdr innacuries unless he’s talking about out of the box but they already said all tvs are basically not accurate out of the box. Post calibration is a bigger question, I would be surprised if the guy that returned his tv got his tv calibrated but who knows.

They hate it because they can’t accept it has perfected what the Z9D is lacking in.

Do you think PS5 32gbps can be uncapped to 48gbps? If not then c1 or g1 with 40gbps is enough for current ps5 and xbox console?
