Qrow is always on the move because of his semblance, so the fact that Ruby (and sometimes Yang) are always happy when she sees him is probably a blessing to him. "I know that when I'm with you I'm at home." It seems like he is most relaxed around her and Yang, so maybe when he's with them he's at home.

THANK YOU! That was the first thing I thought about when I first heard this. It's kind of solemn and melancholy in a way. But there's still that hint of love and hope I imagined Qrow being there for Summer in her final moments trying to make them somewhat bareable. So he spends all his effort to keep his nieces safe. His final promise to Summer.
Okay first forgot, three. Second, because of that, you can wait another year for half-life 3 your jerk! Third, glad to see other people had the same idea.

Most people see this song as a relaxing one, sad but hopeful.That is not the case for me. It reminds me of my parents who died of covid within a month of each other. This song brings me to tears instantly because it reminds me of what i lost, how i am alone now and how much i wish i wasn't.
Casey Lee Williams... Never have I heard a more angelic voice, whenever one of her songs like this graces my ears, I feel my troubles melt from my being and contentment take its place... I hope I might have the honour of meeting her and telling her such in person some day.

i am sorry to hear that. im not sure if your cat passed or not, but my family cat died earlier this year of old age. She was also 18 years old. one day she stopped eating, then later she stopped getting up and walking all together until she just passed peacefully in my parents room. It is a hard thing to go through when losing a pet. Just be in peace knowing your cat has had a long life, just like mine did, and it was full of love and care.

I made a fanfiction.
Summer was attacked by Tyrian, and she lost both her eyes and he stabbed her with his stinger. He then sliced out one of Ruby's eyes before Summer killed him with a blind throw. She then crawled to Ruby, and held her in her arms, singing the first 6 lines of this to her, and it hits so damn hard.
Just...picture it, Ruby crying her eyes out at the pain, and Summer trying, despite knowing that she's dying, to comfort Ruby. It breaks my heart, and I'M THE ONE WHO WROTE IT!
I squealed like a little girl when I saw this because I loved the original song and now I love this song with all of my heart :D

I mean, I guess it could be interpreted that way. but according to Jeff Williams all of the songs he writes are up to interpretation. I feel it is more Ruby realizing that her friends and family are what home is. After all, in Volume 1 on the airship to Beacon she saw Signal as her home until Yang said Beacon was there home now.
