This is how FMS describes this very well built Civilian RC Plane:
"The Cessna 182 is a popular small single-engine propeller aircraft that first appeared in 1956. It plays a crucial role in general aviation and is widely used in various fields such as private flying, flight training, business cruising, aerial photography, aerial patrols, geographic surveyance, and emergency medical rescue. Authorized by Textron Innovations Inc., the FMS 1500mm Cessna 182 adheres to the long-standing product philosophy of "Scale appearance, excellent performance," faithfully reproducing the appearance of the real aircraft and replicating its reliability, versatility, flexibility, and ease of operation. Whether you're a beginner pilot eager to progress or an enthusiast seeking recreational flying, the FMS Cessna 182 is undoubtedly a must-have choice."

Thank you Brother! I haven’t watched the other flight back yet, but I do know I said some silly stuff that probably won’t make any sense while flying it harder lol 👊🏻💥👊🏻

This Old Man from Washington NC enjoying with my coffee ☕. GB in my large fleet I have 2. Installed sound system in both. Also RC parachute drop on one. Great flyers and crowd pleasure 🤣. Say HI to Darci and Jodie for me ✈️🧔💝💝💝
Thank you my friend! Both ladies say hi John! 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Just some what if thoughts on flight duration: 14.98 volt after a six minute flight; on a 2200 4s indicates a per cell average of 3.745. That is a bit further than I would take it, but still acceptable. The 2200 is at the lower range of recommended battery size, with 3200 the upper range. Just scaling by mah, that could yield a flight time of 8.7 minutes, and approx 7.4 minutes with a 2700. That sounds ok, but I suspect it would go down quite a bit with "exuberant" flying. I think it looks really good in the air, they way GB flew it.
Thank you for this detailed and thoughtful comment! I think my packs are wearing out and that is limiting the flight times and a touch of the high performance this has the potential to deliver. HRB 2600’s will be used in the future 👊🏻💥👊🏻
nice scale looking plane and flight...
Thank you JCB! 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Would you recommend the Arrows Husky or the FMS Cessna? I have both in my cart. Long time flyer, getting back into it - moving up from AeroScout.
Boy, both truly are you can’t lose type RC Planes. Part of it would depend on your field and batteries on hand you have in your inventory. Before you do anything, make sure you use my discount codes before checkout, if you haven’t already.
I would say the new Cessna is the better plane overall and it is a million times easier to tear down for transport and store.
I will be paying attention to any replies, so feel free to ask additional follow up questions 👊🏻💥👊🏻
@@GBLynden - thank you for the tips.
Just joined a local club with a 400' paved runway with grass beside and runouts - lots of giant scale flown there. And we go to regional scale meets and will eventually compete in giant scale.
They suggested I get a middle-level plane after the trainer before a big heavy warbird (and big $$), so I was looking at Eflite carbon-Z cub, and the other larger foamies.
I've been using my 3S lipo's from my crawlers for the trainer so I'll have to buy a couple of packs for whichever. The Husky left on HZ are the 6S ultimate version which is fine with me. I used to fly pattern and scale but it's been a dozen years. I was going to get a TopFlite 182 with 20CC gas twin but I need more stick time. I like the FMS foamies, have a 1100mm Typhoon waiting in the wings as well.
Space is not a problem, and larger is always better. ;)
HobbyZone has a 5% off and free shipping for both.
Nice! If you use the Coupon Code GBLynden, you will get another $10 off :) You really can't go wrong with either, but I am more partial lately to the Cessna 😀
What rates and flap settings are you using on your Spektrum TX?
Hi there! This is what I am using:
*Aileron:*
High Rates is 85% & Low Rates is 65%, though I may bump that up just a touch. Expo us 35% for both, but I may reduce that to 30%
*Elevator:*
High Rates is 90% & Low Rates is 70%. Expo us 30% for both
*Rudder:*
High Rates is 95% & Low Rates is 70%. Expo is 45% for both
I hope this is helpful!
GB
That landing what's butter aloha brother
Thank you very much my friend 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Can you remove the wheel fairings?
I have not tried because it is not needed, even at my crappy flying field lol Thank you for watching and commenting 👊🏻💥👊🏻
@@GBLynden is it possible at least, I think of get this plane it but i like the look without them and wiuld want to take it off
It looks like it is possible, but you would likely have to add something of a spacer to make it work with the wheel. From looking outside, it looks like the wheel pants serve that function. I hope this reply helps!
The batery 4s 2200mah??
Hi there! Yes, the battery is a 4S 2200 and I have also enjoyed flying it on a 4S 2600 HRB 👊🏻💥👊🏻
@@GBLynden ok thanks for your information
