I was a bartender for a few years and, Yep! The mirrors are so you can see what’s in the back row. This cabinet is beautiful and most of us who watch you regularly know how much self control you had to exercise to do this one. The stripes would make a great background for a transfer. Wink wink.

Well Glenda you are exactly who I want to be!! 67 and you are amazing!! you know what makes me really sad, I look at my parents and in laws who are your age and they are so unhealthy, my mom just found out she had a heart attack she didn't know about, the muscle in from of her aorta is dead, she had to have 2 shunts put in, emphysema, type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea...the list goes on...it breaks my heart because this all could have been avoided.... I refuse to be like that! I WANT to be like you ❤️❤️ you are amazing

Great tip to use Clearcoat to seal your tape! You made me laugh with your "pivot" reference, I can relate almost anything to Friends. LOL! Good advice to step back, take a moment. I was thinking a little gold on the roses but I think you're right to stay with just the black pretty classy.

I love your energy!! I have never liked exercise or sweating, LOL. But now at 58 years old I just had my 12 surgery! The 4th on my knees! I would hate to see what my body would be like if I had pushed it hard to exercise. But I am here for the furniture! LOL. It came out gorgeous!! I love it!

Legend has it that mirrors in bars were usually behind the bartenders in the old west so that when you were drinking at the bar you could see if someone was coming up behind you ready to blow your head off. Another reason put forward is that mirrors behind the bar enable the bartender to see what's going on when he has to turn his back to get drinks.
I have to say that is probably all true....the old wild west....those were some wild times huh? like I lived through them lol.....movies taught me...I did live in Cheyenne for 3 year!

HI! I believe the mirror allows you to see any bottles that may be behind other bottles. I may be wrong. Anyway I love painting in black, white and gold. Pieces sell quickly and it is very classy. Your first 5 minutes were so inspiring! I paint and create and would love to share on RUclips, which I do have a channel but I’m never dressed up and usually paint in the wee morning in my PJ’s. Only time when I’m not stressed and not bothered. I too love fitness and after being sick for years I snow ski and run trails. If I have mascara on I’m doing good. I’m so afraid to make a video as “myself”. But then again I am hoping when I do post people will come to learn and not criticize. I love your work! So glad I found your channel!
do you know what Sheri, I am not in the business of dressing up for people to paint....I mean I wouldn't put makeup on to go out and paint NOT in front of a camera. I know some people HAVE to get dressed and all dolled up for their own self and self esteem but I REFUSE to stress myself out about what people will think about my looks. Honestly if people are bothered by my attire or the way I look they can move right along :)

Lady! I'm a stay at home mama of two toddler boys. We have two large dogs, a full vegetable garden, all the other house chores and on top of that I'm insanely crafty. I just started dabbling with furniture art. I'm a hot mess 99.9% of the time, I live in my leggings and workout tops! Real life is not glamorous more often than not.
