This is pretty similar to some other Crystal Lake songs. The opening reminds me of another one of their songs, Apollo, especially the guitars. They tend to release a couple songs at once, with one being on the safer, more approachable side, and another being batshit insane. Mephisto was released with this song, and it's the batshit crazy one. Also the chorus reminds me of While She Sleeps.
If this is like there past ep releases this is probably the first song which is normally the softer/safer song but still Crystal Lake. And the second track is usually bat sh*t crazy. Its going to be called Mephisto it should be out soon. The lasted ep's they did where Watch Me Burn and Disobey and a few year before that was Apollo and Machina. Can't really go bad with any Crystal lake songs.
Pretty good track - I just have a personal issue with screaming. It keeps me from really getting into a song or band. I've tried getting into it, but it just doesn't work for me. If you want to get into some more progressive, but heavy, stuff you should check out Vola's new tracks. Head Mounted Sideways is a good start. Cheers from Los Angeles!
