Its the simple way to make shore the shock waves join up as one and can work together evan more important if you put in race cames.I watched a RUclips vidio of a guy doing a jump on a 350X & when he slowed the sound down on his I phone you could hear the 2 seperate beets of the twin header pipes a bit like how a Harley V Twin sounds but much closer together of course.I realised its why sound diferant to modern single outlet pipes.I build & modify Pulse Jet engines as well so know its it works.Tunners in America knew this also back in the 80,s with XR models .I read on there experiance it helps pick up so with the 400ex carbi & it accelerator pump its as snappy as a 2 stroke now & just sounds mint.
Thanks for asking but no.I will keep it as long as I can.Simpy love it.Suprisingly we have more in WA than I ever thought.About 10 I think.3 or so in perfect condition .I just missed out on one before this one came up for sale.Best thing with this one was its low hour use.There are more over your way I am shore.

Plus govt quarenteen and such. I wouldnt get change from 11k id say. They always seem to pop up in WA when they do. Ive never ridden one ever but deeply fascinated by them. It was either a 350x or a 400ex honda (which are rare too i find). I cant have both so im thinking of just waiting till I find a 350x pop up. What is it like to ride? Do you consider yourself experienced and have you come off it? Are they as bad as they say they are in terms of been dangerous ? Thanks mate
@@djdanzy I have a Honda ATC70 all done up with a 125m engine as well.I ride it by far the most like a old guy on a Gofar.When I first test road the 350X a few years ago I was in love instantly but I needed Lancelin Sand dunes 170K,s away to really test it out.I put it up against the 700 Raptors out there but they had more power & stability to out do me but I was having the most fun .I have a buggered Knee & hip from a Epalepsy fit on a road bike years ago so have to be very carefull riding this beast .I used to Race C grade MX bikes for years but find them to dangerous now.Quad bikes I find to boring.I only ride the 350X about 5 times a year now as its such a High Quality old Classic I want it to last for others to enjoy one day.I paid $5000 for this one 2 years ago & spent $3000 on restoring it.The engine still had texter marks from the Factory on it.Only pulled apart once to fit new clutch plates by the last owner.I installed the 400ex Carb & new & better exhaust but thats it.About 2013 someone over east imported a C container of Trikes from the US some the 350X.All sold before it arived.I thought about hotting up the motor more with a 400 or 500cc kit buy why.It runs perfect as is & 100% reliable will never let me down.Try get a 86 model over the 85 only because of the oil pick up problem the 85,s had.

So ill be wearing a good helmet and neck brace. I was tossin up beteeen a 400ex(which i find are pretty rare as i didnt want a 450r quad. The 350x just looks like so much fun. Id also like to pick up a big red 250 for cheap aswell somewhere. Guess i could still ride that on the dunes too. Unsure of how it would go mustering sheep... i love the fact how the 350s seem to kick out the back easy I wont be riding hard. Like to give it a squirt in a straight line thats pretty much it. Alot of 350x videos it seems the front wants to pop up really easy.. If you controlled it can you launch throigh the gears with the tyre on the ground ?or id just extremly wheely happy Got any videos of you riding it? Btw your pulse jet is freekin awesome ha ha
@@djdanzy Well you do have reverse & Electric start with the 400ex.Not as hard to find in good condition & at a good price as well.Better on hard dirt tracks also for stability.For Farm use I like my old Yamaha YTM225 dxl because its Semi Automatic. I have not seen a 250 Big red yet but they look good.Getting the front wheel off the ground is all part of the fun on a Trike.Just dont over do it or you will be sitting on your arse in seconds.MX bikes tought me that.
The Muffler is a Lexx I got on eBay listed for a 400ex Honda Quad bike.The header was made by myself from both the old pipe & a few Mandrel bent pipes on eBay also.Its only 1.6mm thick so I used the thinnest welding rod sticks I could buy.I dont have a Mig or Tig & the paint was VHT Flame Proof with its Primer also used.

That origional header? If not, Where did you get one? And how much. And what muffler Is that?
