Great vlog again,so sad about the floods And you got caught up in it but glad you was able to move on safely, did look nice And you had the chance to Enjoy some of it ❤️ 😊 xx
We met some great people there but yeah it certainly put everything into perspective when reality kicked in! X
That's perfect timing weather get bad, But it's nice you guys evacuate already for safety
The locals said it was a typhoon that passed through. It was pretty scary but we got away from the river!
Wow must of been scary. Looked very quiet there. Enjoy guys bet you won't forget that
It was a little too quiet in all honesty. The typhoon just topped it all off. We felt bad for escaping but had to do what was right for us at the time. When she said we could be trapped for up to a week if the banks blew we knew we simply had to get out of there as quick as we could. During this our backpacks got damaged beyond repair too so everything got soaked inside and we had to go and find suitcases at an extortionate price. Definitely one to remember!
How frightening for you and your families. Hope all the others were ok but you did right to move on when you could. Another brilliant vlog like only you two can do!😆
Thanks Hilary. Yeah a pretty scary time for sure. Everyone went back home later the following morning once the rain had stopped long enough for the river to drop out of the danger zone so we heard. Glad you enjoyed it x
Wow, this vlog was extraordinary….on many different levels of fun, scary, and upsetting. As you say, brings it to life watching everyone with their livelihood literally in their hands😢 I agree about the tarsier retreat….. something a bit iffy going on there ! Shame there is a lot of greediness going on out there 😢 Really looking forward to Japan. X
Glad it's not just us that thinks that Kezza. The thing is we always go with good intentions, but afterwards learn that often we are doing more harm than good. We learned that lesson in Thailand in 2018 at an elephant sanctuary which preached that it was genuine blah blah blah, but still has questions marks over it as they allow elephant bathing and some were in shackles. Tokyo is out so we hope you enjoy that one too! Xx
@@ParksTravelGuide That is awful for the elephants 🐘 so sad 😞 Hopefully I will get to Tokyo tonight 😂 Have fun guys xx
Hello, great vlogging. Watching frim san francisco ca.. winder if your atill in Philippines? Hope you cpuld do a vlogg of my beatifyl city of M A N I L A .! Thanks
Hey there. We're not unfortunately as our visa free entry only lasted 30 days. We've been through Japan and Vietnam since and are now in Thailand.
It’s so sad to see . I’m so glad you guys are ok and safe x
It was heartbreaking watching parents bed their kids down on the concrete. They usually face this once a year but luckily for them everything was ok the next morning after the typhoon had passed x
