Got to love those scale off roaders, Sand Scorcher, Blazing Blazer, Toyota Hilux, Pajero Mtw, Izuzu Mu, all of which had scale hard bodies and scale suspension, still have my '81 Hilux and still working on it after nearly 40 yrs
@@RCRetro I have no time to run and it is in original '88 condition. I'am afraid that the children will brake something, and due to the rareness of this model, the spareparts cost same as gold. Also it seems that there will be no resell of this model like the others at the moment. It shares some parts with the Avante, so some are more or less available now. It's unpainted with manual and all parts are stock. Still first tires and only driven on 90% asphalt. Mechanical 3 Speed. Original Remote from Sanwa. Some spare tires. Shocks are still working nice. If you are interested in some pics, maybe I can upload them to Dropbox or even upload a small video here on RUclips.
Hey, I'm about to get a complete vintage still in the box Tamiya Wild One tomorrow. I been watching your unboxing video of yours. The one I'm getting is the American Version. The difference is the box is in English and yours is in Japanese. Any tips I should look for with the American version? From what I saw in all pics everything is legit. I'm going to look at it in person tomorrow.
Luis L.P. RC's thanks for the comment. Did you get it today? Other than the language there really is no difference. As far a building tips, I really can’t say because i never built my Wild One. I’ve decided to keep it unbuilt NIB. Gotta have at least one vintage NIB to display....
@@RCRetro I got it today. The seller came to my job and dropped it off. I checked everything and its 100% complete and paid the man lol! Now I have to find the original transmitter that I had with this kit when I was a kid. It was a Futaba Magnum Junior. I seen a couple on ebay but they are missing components. They had one posted this past October 100% complete. I'm patient and I know one will pop up for sale. I waited three years for this vintage kit lol! Theres two more on Ebay right now, but there in Japan 100% complete.
Awesome! Man that brings back memories
Classic RC-Great video-Thanks for sharing!
These will always be my idea of RC cars!! Glad I got to grow up during this time and own a few as a child!!!!!
The good old days! Cant beat the tamiya classics! Will always choose a classic tamiya model kit over modern rtr anyday👌

Fantastic video. can't wait to build my Hornet soon.
Loved the 80s n tamiya was king
I still have my 1980's BigWig and Lunchbox.
Any time I see videos celebrating the Tamiya SRBs, they always leave out the Super Champ.

Been a long time since someone threw down some classic Pet Shop Boys with some classic RC. Awesome.... Loved the vid and tunes.
KY DAWG1 appreciate the comment...the way i see it, you gotta have some classic 80s tunes to with the golden age of RC
Great work!
I miss having my Bigwig so much fun to build and drive.
Buy a re-release, they’re very affordable and just as much fun as the original. Just finished mine and was surprised at how well it goes!

I definitely would like to see pics. I have 3-4 guys who I hang with and run vintage RCs with. I can show them and ask if the are interested.
@@RCRetro I'am not in social media. It's possible to send you directly some over Gmail/RUclips? Where are you located by the way?
