You are wrong on one point, you do not need a huge range for highway trips, even less a big battery. You just need enough range to go from a fast charger to the next one, and In Europe a Tesla model 3 with less than 60 kWh can do it. Not to mention a smaller battery implies a better efficiency, everyday. So the key is the charging network. In fact, when you buy a Tesla a part of the price goes to the supercharger networks, at least 1000 €, probably 2000 €. Millions of Teslas later, it makes a fantastic network. So if this BMW can access wide and reliable fast charging networks, and is reasonably efficient, people will be ok for long trips. I would say that on a 1000 km trip a 60 kWh battery implies 3 or 4 charges (about 15 minutes each) and with a 80 kWh battery it will be 2 or 3 charges, depending of the conditions (speed, temperature, weather, etc.). I would rather stop 4 times on a 1000 km trip anyway, just for my comfort, but I guess younger people think they do not need to have so many breaks.

you are right. Not to mention that battery range becomes completely irrelevant if you live in a small place

Totally agree. It is not a bad battery. Maybe the problem could be the second row of seats.

A sensible review, Car Manyaq. Is that sound dubbed to English? I think that in Czechia, even the dubbing looks more synchronized between the audio and the video.
For a BMW that is almost the equivalent of the Enyaq, it looks very cheap. If you asked me, I would have guessed some EUR 80,000 or something. Is the BMW etc. losing the ability to charge huge premiums for the brand? But the small battery sucks. The people who say that this modest range doesn't matter are crazy. We just heard about some Poles who could drive 1200 km per tank with the Superb. If one only gets 1/3 of the normal enough ICE range with an EV, it is just a massive disadvantage. Going from one charger to the next may be OK but it is simply incompatible with the words like comfort let alone luxury.
The black plastics look like the Škoda 120 from the 1980s or something like that. Honestly, does it make sense to produce anything else than the cognac Enyaq leather inside?
