Bought the Weathertech version of this one for my 2024 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X and one section of it kept popping up and I tried to leave it in the sun hoping the heat would help to adhere it, but didnt work. Really liked the looks of it as it blended in well with my black truck, but was afraid the wind would get under it and peel it off. Ended up taking it off, which it came off real easy, and returning it. When i purchased the truck new in August of this year, the dealership put a NanoCure protection on it, and I'm wondering if that was reason it wouldn't adhere to my hood, or the 3M tape that Weathertech uses just wasnt sticky enough. I've read in a few forums that if you have a Ceramic coating on your vehicle, these hood protectors don't adhere very well. Nice review on the install, and how is yours holding up so far?
I just got one for my 2024 High Country and wanted to watch a video or 2 on how to install. Looks like you only get 1 shot at putting it on correctly or you are screwed. I also got mine from the dealership. It is a Lund. Used my points from when I purchased the truck so it was free.
If you check when I just remove just a bit too pull it off the tape cover in the back and there’s just a bit that sticks to the paint without pressing on it just to hold it in place then when you got it where you want it press your spot where the tape protector you got sticking out to pull and just pull and hold it from the opposite side that you are pulling just to be sure you don’t move and everything should go right, hope this help
Man, I hope you gave it a kiss when you were done. Just put it on already.
😆

And once you get one section of that 2 way tape protector off push pressure on the tape you just expose underneath and repeat
Thanks
