2023 xrc turbo rr with smartlock. Drivers side cover leaks so I pulled the differential and replaced that big O ring. Started leaking 3 days later. Apparently vent tube was\is clogged. Do I just need that O ring or do I put gasket on that side too?
Just make sure the O-ring is not pinched and blow out the vent tube and should be ok hope this helps
Liked and subbed
Thanks a lot Bud it’s really appreciated!!!
Thanks for doing this video, it was very helpful.
No problem glad it helped you out and appreciate the positive feedback have a great holiday and be safe on the trails!!!
@ Merry Christmas to you and your family and all the best in 2025.
What size is the grease tip?
Not sure of the size but it’s not the smallest it like the second size from the smaller size hope this helps
How often does it need changing? I bought a used 2027 with 3800 miles. I don't know if it was ever changed.
Once a year if you are hard on your stuff every 2 years if you are a little bit hard and if you just trail and only used one or two times a month just check it to make sure you level are good and look in your manual and check what mileage you need to change it ! Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
@Can-AmX3Dude I don't have a manual. I am not hard on it as I drive it in eco mode, but we go long distance. A few weeks ago 500 miles in 3 days. It was getting 22 mpg!
@canolando3499 if you got it used I would charge it just to do preventive maintenance
How goofy nothing to match it for the hood bulge?? Thing looks weird just behind the top grill bulge.
Have you ever seen that green oring on the driver side be leaking or would you think it’s a cracked case?
No I have never seen it leaking and don’t think it would be crack not old enough
Do you know what size bolts are for mounting the hangers to the actual step?
Sorry no I don’t!
Thanks for showing me how to make my own tool, but you didn’t give the torque on the bolt that holds it on the shaft
Sorry if I forgot to put the specs appreciate you watching !
Keep it up bud! Looks smooth!!
Thanks Bud appreciate the positive energy! Be safe out riding, hope to here from you again!
Good for summer time. For winter grab another center cover and install a 8 inch fan with a motor controller and a switch for winter time heat.. WORKS GREAT especially for under 18 dollars 😁👍
I got the icebreaker heater so I’m all good 👍 thanks for watching it greatly appreciated!
@Can-AmX3Dude nice 👍, Love x3 videos so keep um coming 😁👍
Good to see you posting again. Thumbs up for that!
Thanks Dude, didn’t think anyone was paying attention, it’s greatly appreciated that someone cares if I upload new content, will have more coming soon and be safe out riding!
1:47 how to keep ratchet on socket next vid? 😂
Anyone having codeshooter trouble were it says no file equation point car does funny stuff
I have not had any issues with my code-shooter to answer your question, thanks for your question
Hey bud Thanks for the tips. That was the best video for giving sockets size and tips like the wire pull etc. I’ll be tackling this project in a couple weeks. I just subscribed. 👍🏼
Thanks Bud that is very greatly appreciated and thanks again for watching my video, be safe out there riding!
Great vid. Is camera tape still holding the camera to the roof?
Yes it is, has not move a bit and the tape is not coming off and I see the top of it from my deck so I keep checking it all the time !
@Can-AmX3Dude thanks for the reply! Is it true that the invisible trailer function does not work when the camera is mounted on the roof? Thanks!
@Imago1Dei the invisible trailer function works great it’s makes the trailer look like you are hauling a flat bed trailer
More bite? How do you measure bite? Sorry... I like the video. Who makes the best belt these days?
I’m having good results testing new belts now that is not yet on the market , but have only had the best results in the last 4 years with G Boost World Best Belt and have destroyed 3 Can-Am belts , haven’t blown a G Boost one yet!
Eh Dude on this turbo issue video i was wondering if the diagnostic tool you have is a bluetooth app or a the OBD buds' diagnostic tool. And BTW i really enjoy your how to video very informative and cool . Keep it up
Yes it’s a app on your and it a OBD tool as well and thanks for your positive feedback!
Good morning i was trying to locate the app which i found maptuner but it doesnt have the can am maverick on it, would you be kind enough to share the name of the one you are using please and thank you
@PierreJean-z1g it is the Code Shooter for EVO and you need to buy the code shooter from evo and the plugin for the unit you are using and you plug it in then you turn power on without starting and then you turn on the app it will find the code shooter and then you can get diagnostics or tuning or check boost and other things, hope this helps, but the tool I used for my turbo problem was a boost leakage from my intercooler and I used the KWI boost tester kit got a video on that tool, if you got more questions feel free to ask!
@@Can-AmX3Dude thank you so much for all the info and will deffinatly whatch the video on it Thanks again and much appreciated👌
@@PierreJean-z1g no problem, glad you enjoyed it and thanks again for watching my videos!!!
Very nice! I take delivery of my '24 Colorado next week. What brand of Tonneau cover do you have? Have you noticed any leaks?
Just got my answer on one of your other videos.
Go with the gmc/Chevy dealership had cover, I show the name in my order video and have no complaints or leaks! And thanks for watching its greatly appreciated
No problem glad to hear that my video can help you make a decision that make a difference for you!
Bought the Weathertech version of this one for my 2024 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X and one section of it kept popping up and I tried to leave it in the sun hoping the heat would help to adhere it, but didnt work. Really liked the looks of it as it blended in well with my black truck, but was afraid the wind would get under it and peel it off. Ended up taking it off, which it came off real easy, and returning it. When i purchased the truck new in August of this year, the dealership put a NanoCure protection on it, and I'm wondering if that was reason it wouldn't adhere to my hood, or the 3M tape that Weathertech uses just wasnt sticky enough. I've read in a few forums that if you have a Ceramic coating on your vehicle, these hood protectors don't adhere very well. Nice review on the install, and how is yours holding up so far?
Perfect have had no problem at all , thanks for watching Bud!
Lol.....yeah u would have to be a leaf fan for lift .....oiler man here .....yes I saw your close in kit. Then I would suggest take the rad off for a really good flushing, then for sure there is no dirt in side......we both have a common bond Can-am Maverick x3 XMR ......
Ya Bud bring the Cup back to Canada, and ya love this X3 build XMR/XCR/XDS and with the tracks and plow it’s really a all in one SXS and love it in the winter, hunting, plowing with heated cab, I don’t regret nothing!!
Hey buddy get a rad relocate kit. That's not a really good way to clean the rad and a lot of work for nothing.......Oh yeah did u lose a bet and had to wear that Toronto maple leaf jersey ...hahahahaha
Thanks for leaving a comment, can’t put a rad relocation because I got full cab in closed for winter tracks, so that is not an option for me, and for the Leafs question, I’m a leafs fan for life from the start of my life since when I was playing hockey as a 4 years old kid in Tim Horton arena in Cochrane his we Tim is from, Go Leafs Go!!!
i’m torn. i got the canyon at4 in desert sand and i love it where i am in the SW in texas dry desert mountains, i hate the turbo whining noise, i feel like the infotainment takes a bit sometimes it either loads or doesn’t load the wifi. and lack of electronic rear sliding window :/ i get about 23 miles per gallon mix of city and highway combined . haven’t taken it off roading yet but it’s on my list of fun stuff for this saturday morning and test it out. never owned a 4x4 before.
Cool Dude hope you have fun!!
This guy breaths too loud
@@roco1890 ya I don’t put my mic on my neck no more pics up everything too much.
Ya don’t used my wireless mic no more clip to my shirt.
Nice video mario
Thanks appreciate the positive feedback have a great weekend!
What is the part number for those clamps?
If you are talking about the ones that clipped on the 2 sides of the windshield on to the rôle cage there is none you only get it with the windshield and even if you try to get your dealer to do a special order, they won’t give it to you , I hope you didn’t break one ore loose one, your out of luck, the only thing you can do is get a machine shop to make you one custom, sorry, but I did all the steps that I just told you for another viewer
Great simple video. Really helped!
@@aaronstokes2883 greatly appreciate your positive feedback regarding my video and thanks again for taking the time to do so, have a wonderful weekend and be a Safe out there riding!
The bypass pipe has the paper thin ring/seal and the clamp is seated properly and tight. The fumes comes out of the exhaust of the muffler, I can put my hand near the turbo and pipe clamp and feel no hot air or smell anything. Seems like running rich or the lack of catalyst not burning the raw fuel coming thru. I'm going to install a dyno jet tuner and re program the computer to compensate the RPM bypass and the new muffler, hopefully that works.
Ya sorry to hear that, don’t have any issues with that, but hopefully you can find and fix the problem soon, please let me know what you find and what you did to fix.
How do you eliminate the strong fumes coming out after removing the catalyst converter ?
@@richardaristeo8394 it must not be seated properly or you didn’t put the gasket or the clamp is not tight enough
You're showing high clearance steps, but you never once show the clearance or an underside shot. That's the point, isn't it?
Go to the 7 minutes and 32 seconds and you will see that the step are higher then the frame of the pickup and what they look like under
Beautiful truck I’m definitely going with this or the Denali for sure
Glad to hear that my video helped you out and in joy , it a really great midsize pickup truck!
The bearings in an x3 are the same as bearings used on saturn cars...zero need to grease them..
Thanks for sharing your feedback it greatly appreciated
Excellent video very informative thanks.
Appreciate your positive feedback, thanks again!
So I'm watching someone who hasn't a clue, it's OK because I'll be doing the same.
Yeah but I find looking at someone else’s making mistakes helps me not to do the same mistakes and showing step by step how to do it and knowing what to do or at less not what to do is a good thing and love the way you commented it made me laugh 😆 thanks for watching and make sure your X3 is in Park !
@@Can-AmX3Dude I do appreciate people like you making the effort that will save me a few hassles. Well done mate.
@tonyp2865 No Problem appreciate the positive feedback Dude
@@Can-AmX3Dude I'm was just about to send you a massage. I just fitted mine, which took half an hour thanks to your tutorial. 👏
@tonyp2865 happy to help
How do you reinstall the side mounts on the glass part of windshield...i accidentally pulled them off when removing windshield...any help would be greatly appreciated
Just make sure that cage is clean before you install the windshield and the make sure you are using the right side for the sliding clips and just place them with the locking mechanism towards the inside and slide them downwards until they lock in to place you can look closely on them they have markings were they should be, hope this helps
Not on cage ... the window mounts...I had to recruit my daughter and a friend to knock them back onto windshield..used alittle of windex and a lot of work but got it done...windsheild is now on can am ...thanks
@srasmussen3217 they can be a bit hard sometimes
Question i bend the lil flapper valve where the rod goes🤦🏽 also broke the lil nipple off and now the flapper valve its loose. Your looks like it has tension on it. Any advice on how to fix this? I was trying to bump up boost to 8 psi
You need to replace the flap for the turbo I assume it the flap at the hot side !
You didnt clock the spring and what hole in helix did you put spring in?
@@JM-dy9mx the Mud Bog clutch Kit from GBoost has springs for secondary without the insert that you choose a hole 🕳️ # 1 to 4, I was wondering that too but it works great 👍 and no belt slipping so i never question it more and there is other company for drag racing X3 that are set up the same way but I’m glad you ask thanks again for watching and appreciate the comment!
FACTS: tow mirrors are no longer required. I towed a 30’ travel trailer 5K miles with that camera over the last 2 years. It was well worth the $500.

You are welcome and greatly appreciate the compliment thanks and be safe out on the trails
Clear and simple instructions great video man!
Thanks appreciate the positive feedback have a good one Dude
What liquid sprays can I buy near my auto shop stores ?? Or what do u suggest if online is not my favorite place atm.
The only 2 things I suggest are the 1st thing I show you in my video one you can get at any auto store and the other from your Can-Am dealer make sure you put on latex gloves 🧤 because you will have dark stains on your hands 🙌 for a week 😆 hope this helps
Muchas gracias

Same process for the rears?
Yes it the same on all 4 corners my friend!
It is the same on all 4 corners!
@@Can-AmX3Dude I have a lot of people say not to grease them. It can cause more harm than good. So I guess I don’t know what to do. I’m trying to do preventative maintenance to make stuff last. Advice? I have a 22 Maverick sport max 1000r 4-seater.
@@GallagherRC I had to replace the 2 rear bearing in less the 1 year I think it was even less then 10 months and the I greased the 2 new rears and the 2 front so that was in 2020 I got a 2019 X3 like you know and haven’t changed a wheel bearing since it’s 2024, 4 years later, and that is no bs, just use high quality grease for one and you should be ahead of the game, if your X3 is 6 to 10 months old and your greasing them now and they do fail, was not because you grease them, you greased them too late, don’t know why someone would say that greasing them would cause more damage, everything that rotates metal on metal needs lubrication if it’s not oil it’s grease!!! Hope this clears your decision, please let me know what you decide, I’m curious 🧐 have a great day and be safe on the trails
@@Can-AmX3Dude a lot of people have said on forums when I asked about greasing them, that you have to be careful because if you put too much grease, you’ll blow the seals they can fail prematurely, that they do not need much grease and they are filled to spec at factory, etc. I have 1200 miles on my machine. I just changed all the fluids. I just wanted to do everything I could prevent a maintenance wise. I have lithium grease was going to use on them. I’m waiting on the tool to arrive in the mail. I can’t see why putting a few pumps in each one would bother anything?
What name brand brake pads bare you using?
I say the name right at the start of the video, and show the part number as well, hope this helps
I like the shirt Mario! You an office fan also? 😂
Thanks
That spline/final drive never had to be changed?

Hey just curious, where did you find the shim kit and what is the part number for the kit? Can’t find the shim kit anywhere
Got the shim kit from the Dealer it’s a BRP part
Did your At4x not come with black rims?
No but it was supposed to, so I asked my dealer and the change to black free of charge, the only thing is the spare supposed to math and they want me to pay cost price to get it black, that I’m not happy about!!!
