- Visit to VW Marshall Group Reading & Skoda.... temp manager IAN makes a fool of himself and complicates GDPR and Data access request. ( VW )
When I explain to him that I bought a VW Golf R from VW.. he asks from his branch?... when I say NO - he says "Say No More " shocking......
He stops the positive promotion of VW and when we visit NEXT DOOR Skoda Marshall Group we have the OPPOSITE response from the get go....
How to do it.... and how to NOT.....!!!

What makes you think you are entitled to go round, insulting random workers for no reason. Ian is obviously doing his best to stay calm but DJ is consistently egging him on, continuing the argument. DJ is also wrong as he misinterpreted what Ian had said. Ian stated that he doesn’t sell card personally and rightly so correct DJ when he called them VW when they are marshals. You must have a boring life to be sat on RUclips watching a random idiot walk into dealerships and companies, making workers that are having a good day uncomfortable and annoyed.

VW used to be over the road, where the casino now is. I had a Polo GTi and I absolutely loved it! Visited there recently with a view to ordering a brand new car, but they didn’t have any vehicles that ticked all my boxes. Skoda, few months ago one of their new vehicles caught fire and damaged at least one other car! Not sure if it was an electric vehicle but it makes you think! I would love to know what happened.

Respect to the skoda guy, he was excellent and knew his stuff. Much better than the Skoda people in Bristol who Couldn't be bothered when I walked in ready to spend £28k on a car because they were about to shut. Their loss. The guy at the VW place was rude and should have a better attitude. Remember the customer is king especially when spending 20k or more.

That manager is a total bellend for not realising the public perception of a building with a massive VW sign on the outside. The world see it is VW. They don't necessarily see it as going into Marshall's. They are going into a VW dealership. How he doesn't realise this is incredible. Talk about disconnected from the real world. And as for his appalling reaction when he asked if DJ had bought the car direct from Marshall? Disgusting!!! So many things he said were out of touch and not about what's best for selling more cars.
