- In this Physics video lecture in Hindi for class 12 we discussed on properties of electric charge - principle of conservation of charge, quantisation of charge and additive nature of charge.
Law of conservation of charge states that for an isolated system, the net charge always remains constant.
The fact that all observable charges are always some integral multiple of elementary charge e, is known as quantization of charge. The fact that the total charge on an object is equal to the algebraic sum of all the electric charges distributed in that object is known as additive nature of charge.

Sister the Quantum Vacuum Fluctuations exists and it is proved according to it the new particles are created and destroyed and their is no Mathematical Expressions for that and if you make one then you will get noble prize.
Even the anti particles also exist so don't blindly belive anything even from the textbook.

According to the conservation of charge the total charge of the universe is constant. Is this constant value is zero? If universe is made up of atoms and atom is electrically neutral, then is the universe is electrically neutral?

In conservation of electric charge if charge from a body is given to another body in an isolated system then it should have negative charge on it then why we took it as positive?

I asked this to myself.
Yet to get answer.
Two charges create force on each other.
What if any of them does not have mass?
Because, a = F/m.
a must be infinity.
Although relativity comes into play, the picture is not clear.
So question remains - can charge exist without mass?
Is there any matter like having negative mass ? That means the negative mass particle wii destroyed the mass nature of a positive mass particle as negative charge destroy the electric nature of a positive charge.

Muhafiz Ali Discrete quantity. A discrete quantitycan only take on certain values. For example, the number of students in a classroom can only be a positive integer and is thus a discrete quantitysince the range of possible values is not continuous.
