    Respected sir,thanks alot for such an informative lecture,your lecture made it quite easy for me to learn this topic ...however i am confused at a point , Here in the derivation u have used C as proportionality constant or coulombs but according to my book k is the proportionality constant..Would you please help me on this point ,i would be highly grateful.

    why the magnitude of force does not depend upon magnitude of charge as from coulombs law f = k q1 q2/r^2

      Because Force F depends upon the product of charges.so if one is small the other is multiplied with it...like
      3×4=12
      4×3=12
      For same charges
      3×3=9 if we change the places of charges it will again give 9.so F doesn't depends only on one charge magnitude..its depends on their product
