I live in the Rocky Mountains, I'm about to do my first VK race in France. Upon getting to the ski resort I've learned I live in the Rocky Hills. Never used poles in my life, even as a skiier I go without poles. Race starts in 45 minutes, thanks Salomon.
Are there certain metrics when poles make running more economical like grade of inclines or length of race, percentages etc? Do the same people sometimes run with poles and other times not, or do you rather have people who always run with poles and then others who never do? Are poles allowed in all or most trail races? So many questions (; thanks for the video!
The Salomon quiver has two hooks at the top that attach to small loops at the top of the straps on some Salomon vests. The cord at the bottom is then run through a loop at the bottom of the pack. Don’t tighten too much or you won’t get the poles in or out. For other packs you can run a Velcro strap, the type used to keep cables tidy. Run the Velcro strap through the hooks and then under the vest strap.

It's 1am on a Friday night and I'm watching videos on how to run with trekking poles... I don't know what happened
Good old youtube
Best thing about collapsible poles in a quiver is you look like Robin Hood running from the law.
Exactly what I was looking for!
I needed this video, thanks!
Glad it was helpful, Kelly! 😉

Even more deja vu 🙂

In addition to using them on hills, poles are useful when you're really drunk.
How is that sack attached to the vest?
Sporty.

What poles are these?
They use the SENSE ULTRA FOLDABLE from Salomon. Great trail running poles i can highly recommend them :)
👍..
What if I’m old and not a very good runner and am better at eating pastry?
