Awesome video 😊 Really nice to see a cool kiwi couple enjoying Australia. I bet the temperature difference was a tough thing. Im a Queensland carpenter from Brisbane and i couldn't imagine working up there
cheers mate, yeh we are normally from Bribie - love Aussie outdoors. It was pretty ugly hot up here when we arrived in Feb, but the trip we did just before Xmas up around the Chillagoe, Mitchell river to Nomanton was bloody hot. (see earlier episodes). The humidity kills me, but right now Darwin is perfect temp (Dry season).
@@tickb4kick ok. That's not too bad than. I'm going to head up to Darwin for the first time next year. I've got a good mate that lives up there. We used to work together. He's a good barramundi fisherman and he's invited me up to Darwin to go Barra fishing for the first time. I usually fish down around Jacobs well on a 14 foot kayak. Don't think I'll be doing that up there😁
@@matthewcullen1298 lol, yep, the crocs do the fishing up here. Kayaks are just entertainment for them I think :-p. If are driving up, suggest a detour via Middleton, once of the best trips we have done (Episodes 29 to 31). Awesome scenery, it was like Arizona !
Hey, thx for watching. Prado has been going ok engine wise. Ive got a weird problem going on at the moment, i suspect wheel speed or crank sensor. Its an old truck but super well maintained, it does well given the work it does :-) Will check it out tomorrow. Caravan had some major brakes issues, but all resolved now. Else all good.
Awesome stuff good hear all is well, I am on the hunt for a hybrid van of some sort, and have a 2010 Prado with 180,000k's. How many K's on that engine since the rebuild? Go well. 👍
@@150_ADVenture Engine split the piston at 195k, done about 220k now. Engine in general seems to be running fine. The dealer was a real dodgy arse, but the mechanic was an awesome guy and did a great job.
Well not directly. We did drive past it while staying at Lee and Jennys bush camp. We went for a drive to check out the Daly River public Boat ramp. Will have to look at that for a stay next time :-) ... Did you catch Barra from Woolianna?
As usual ,good vid guys.
lol, thx for watching - hope you get the odd giggle :-)

Thanks 👍
