You have to understand that Arty has been playing this game his whole life, if he admits defeat in any scenario it would ruin his reputation, and overall mean his life is a failure. In his mind he is the best SCBW player to ever exist, and that's the reality of which he lives.
it's all the intense micro-macro of two bases thinking about a third somewhere around 15:30 he'd destroy me though i'm a casual player who loves to watch the pros - flash/bisu/jaedong Change My Mind 🤣
The "correct" protoss player in Artosis world expands on 28 or something conservative, goes observer / expands late and doesn't tech immediately into final tier so he can kill him after expanding (slowly) to 3 or 4 bases. Other than that everything else is cheese (if you are delusional / Artosis).
Plenty of terran players keep a wraith or science vessel patrolling outside their base in SC1 to intercept arbiters. Or they station vulture/marine at the edges where arbs usually try to go. He just doesn't bother to do that. Here's the thing though: even when Arty sees it coming a mile away the arbiters still always seem to get in his base.
20 mins in it looks like artosis is FINALLY moving out into that guys main. the only map control he has is a few mines he placed so that guy cant put nexuses everywhere on the expos. artosis mermaid you need to stop camping in your cornertosis waiting for the guy to come into your tank line.
Arbiter is a broken unit, i 100% agree, but i will not pretend that terran is unable to defend when the terran has the most defensive units with siege tanks, battlecuisers and vessel shields, Artosis just never learned to use them correctly, he wants to hold literally everything with mines, vultures and tanks ONLY, then he complains because the enemy uses high tier units effectively.
Arb is far from broken. It is more or less useless without expensive upgrades, its part of final tier tech and the has the longest build time in the game. If it was a weak unit protoss would have to go carrier or all in midgame on shuttle man every game at high level.
I don't consider arbiters to be broken when terran has two very strong counters: ghost lockdown and/or wraiths. Science vessel EMP is really only viable at the top tiers of play since it's very difficult to hit a moving air unit with it..but for some reason Arty thinks he can do that when he's shown repeatedly he's not at that level.
@@Ziegfried82 I don't think Wraiths can be considered a counter to Arbiters. You need like 6 of them to effectively take down an Arbiter before it can recall, and you need to catch the Arbiter a few seconds before it reaches its target area, so that means that the Wraiths need to be on the "correct" side of the map to catch an Arbiter before it can recall.
Is it just me or is Artosis' late game army control, especially positioning, just horrific. It's like he thinks brood war is literally a complex version of rock paper scissors. His units are never in the right place, they aren't split to defend correctly, he doesn't leap frog, doesn't do anything at all really except a move his army around and siege when the zealots are already in range. Obviously this is ignoring all of his other flaws, but his army control really sticks out like a sore thumb, it's non-existent
"You have to do so much as Terran." You'll have to imagine it though, because Arty isn't doing any of it.
Sitting in your base, building from factories and clicking the armor / weapon upgrade is HARD.

@@WickedServantEbay Don't worry. If you play Protoss and... (this is important) you are bad, then you will definitely beat Artosis.
What is Arty expecting? That his opponent will just suicide into his turtled up siege line?

@@avanhokie "the correct Protos player in Artosis' world" LMFAOOOOOOO
It's the "honourable" thing to do, evidently.
@@avanhokie This would be closest to correct, but I asked him once if it was possible to play honorably as Protoss and he said no. XD
They have to ask for permission to attack, otherwise it is cheesing.
Wow.. I thought Artosis had maybe grown as a human being when he first admitted he did something wrong..
Whew... that was close.
Conceptual 2400 meets actual 2300.
Ghost: They'll never know what hit em'
Artosis: Yeah cuz you didn't make.
"It's just crazy that like.. you don't do anything except make units and [attack]"
ill never understand why he always puts like 1 turret to protect his main.. but can put like 20 at his expo.. smh.
was he expecting the Protoss to only walk up to his minefield and tanks without any alternative in mind?
Why can't i sit behind my siege line and afk all game 😫
As a starcraft 2 player i have a question, why there is no vision outside of his base to prevent or at least know if an arbiter is coming?

Just the necessary amount
Never Arty’s fault
what is the terran version of the recall? what power does terran have like that?
the nuke you may say. nay.
