Recently acquired my first COIN game: Andean Abyss. I really enjoyed your videos about Cuba Libre. They will be a great help to try to understand Andean Abyss before really jumping in so I’m going to watch them all. It would be awesome to see/hear you explain Andean Abyss!
Please, more frequent solitaire game reviews! I really appreciate your detailed and unbiased comments. (And maybe less chats where no games are shown. But that’s just my opinion. Feel free to ignore. 🙂)
I would love to do more reviews and tutorials, but they take forever to do! I would rather have fewer of them but feel sure that I have given every game my full attention. :)
Super excited to see this video! I have had Cuba Libre gathering dust on my shelf for a few months as I have been inundated with new arrivals lately. Just completed an auto-victory win on easy in Mr. President on Monday so I have been debating on getting this or Twilight Struggle: Red Sea to the table next. I really like the plan to release things in shorter videos. Looking forward to the next one!
@@BeyondSolitaire Yeah, but I also have a lot of other games I have to get to. Your video is a very good guide to COIN; the best I've seen. So carry on. ^^
Very timely! Heard about this on the Secret Cabal Gaming podcast, and came right to your channel to hear your thoughts, only to see you posted this yesterday!
@@BeyondSolitaire I personally prefer all bridges burning as a solo game. It only has 3 factions, making it easy to manage, and they are always open to do actions.
Hi Liz, for some reason the video for the Government faction isn’t up anymore? I can see the videos for all other 3 factions, and it looks like it was up at one point, as the playlist says 8 videos, but only 7 are visible.
As long as you are creating the same content and covering the same topics, I don't have a horse in the race as far as longer or shorter videos goes. I prefer longer videos because there's just more information, but dividing it up is OK. I don't understand why anyone feels if a video is long they can't watch it in multiple views, but different strokes and all that.
@@BeyondSolitaire Just as a single data point, when I see a "learn to" video that is 2.5 hours, I just move on to something else. I'm on board with shorter (though hopefully quick and consistent) videos.

Thank you Liz. I have always skirted around COIN games, I appreciate thank you take your time doing these videos.
Jump in, you can do this!

I spent my morning prepping videos for key terms, each faction and its actions, and the propaganda round. :D

Just purchased this game recently and the new expansion. Looks fun !
Me too! I spotted a copy hidden on a shelf at my FLGS. Won’t get it played anytime soon because of my current game group, but what fun timing!
Erm, which expansion did you purchase? Only 1 expansion was announced and it's not available yet.
Great to see you cover this game. I really like the GMT coin series.
More on the way! :D

Just a quick note but, yes, ROOT makes a great "COIN" genre entry (eventhough it's not officially labelled so, it is definitely one! )

I need to correct an error! It will be back, I just have had chaos in my life.
Un grand merci pour la mise en route de ce tutoriel ! Je vais suivre avec grande attention.
Allez-vous éventuellement essayer Britain Way ?
I have British Way, haven't tried it yet, but it's on the to-play list. :)
Need to clip those terror markers! 😉
Exzellent.

We'll see how it goes. Whether I keep things one way or the other might also depend on my workflow and what pleases the RUclips algo gods. lol
