Thanks Tom. I'm always learning something new from you. I love keraji, it's getting to be my favorite fruit. You're right about the vigor. I planted it in the ground this past April, it about quadrupled in size. My husband built me a structure to protect it this winter.
My Kishu grown in pot, zone 5b, is prolific producer and does well indoor - in low light conditions. As an indoor citrus plant, from a fruit production prospective, is only second to kumquat.
Kishu looks like a candidate for growing in a large pot here in eastern Tennessee Zone 7 b. If it tastes half as good as my Browns Select and ten degree tangerine it'll be worth it. Being a smaller tree than the other two will help out being in a large pot I hope.
