Nice review 👌 I have both the fire hd10 and the fire hd 10 plus. I got them both on prime day for £79 and £109 respectively. I find the plus model to be a big improvement. Firstly I like the new soft touch back they gave this model. It adds a more premium look and feel and aids in gripping the tablet. The slate colour is nice and looks great when paired with the finite keyboard accessory . I like having the wireless charging and with a dock charger it becomes a echo show style device. Next is the extra 1gb of ram . It makes a big difference in keeping apps open in the background. Just say your playing a game and want to send a quick message via a social app and then back to resuming your game. You may find the game has to restart with the lower ram variants so having 4gb vs 3gb will make a big difference. These are the differences but for only £30 more the plus model is the one I'd recommend.
Just picked up two 64gb HD 10s for my kids. On sale for 115! They will replace a 7th gen HD 8 and 7th Gen HD 10. Was setting them up last night and it’s a big difference over the 7th gen. Screen is better, speakers are better, the physical size is smaller (though still could trim the bezels down a little more on the next version) and it’s much faster! Fantastic tablet when you get them on sale.

I never had the warm light on my old kindle, but i do not use it on the ipad so I will probably not need it. I think the only thing I'll miss is the self-adjusting light, but this is so worth it!

I have an HD Fire 10 (2yrs old now) and bought a Bluetooth keyboard with a built-in tracking pad (works wonderfully) and a Type C>HDMI cable (suggested by an online tech site) to connect my HD Fire 10 to my TV at work. I want to show videos and display docs etc while I teaching but I don't really want to risk carrying my laptop to and from work daily. Also, the work I do in class isn't so heavy to require my laptop. However, my problem is HD Fire 10 doesn't seem to work at all even though numerous sites say that it is possible to use the aforementioned cable to connect to a TV that supports HDMI (eg 4K HD, etc). I tried connecting my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 phone to the work TV with the cable (works perfectly), tried it at home on my 4K Hisense TV (also works perfectly), only the HD Fire 10 does nothing, giving me the no signal no matter how much I try to fiddle and troubleshoot and follow online instructions. Can you help me out, please? Also, I was wondering if this new-gen HD Fire10 Plus would offer this function since they also answered my prayers and included Microsoft 360 Personal (brought me to tears lol).

the 10 hd plus version is a damn sight faster than the laggy hd 8 gen 8 I bought in Feb 2020. while £240 for the plus productivity bundle isnt cheap for just general browsing usage the keyboard with the extra feature buttons GREATLY speeded up use. tbh I prefer the HD 8 for web novels and web comics so hopefully the keyboard becomes usable for all the kindle fires at somepoint

A silly yet valid question... Is there only one version of the Fire HD 10 Plus or are there different versions for different global areas? I use Apple products. As there are many versions available for various parts of the world, I’m careful that I use American version Apple products. Currently, I live and work in China 🇨🇳. “The Great Firewall” really makes life extremely difficult as far as internet is concerned. I was in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 for ten years, and “The Theocratic Firewall” was twice as bad. My only savior was and is a VPN and an American/British version of iPhone. As you’re aware, COVID has made life very restrictive. I haven’t been home in four years. Also, a Chinese friend of mine has the Chinese version of Amazon, and is unable to find the Fire HD 10 Plus. Hold on you're telling me that the Samsung A7 Is not as fast as the kindle fire d*** that's awesome because we all know that the a 7 starts out around or was it a 100 bucks more and It doesn't have as good as battery life or speed that's crazy everyone keep in mind that this tablet that kindle fire goes on sale frequently for $99 or even as low as 75 so so if you want to get a budget tablet this is literally the best value for dollar out there because the Galaxy tab a8 is it's not even That much of an upgrade from the a 7 so you're you're just paying more for less although I must state that the bill calling of the Samsung tablets is better because it has a metal body but look that's really it
