Lord have mercy, look I miss Frank just as much as the next guy but WOW. Ricky Myers is doing a stellar job as Suffocation’s new frontman. This is absolutely incredible. One of the best modern Suffocation tracks, this band still destroys everything in their path… and they sound even better in a live setting as well! I cannot wait for this new record to drop in early November. Man this is some incredible stuff - that chugging riff transitioning right into the blasts from 2:02-2:12 is something that sounds like it could have been on Breeding the Spawn. Brutality. God fuckin damn! Already this is just as good as Seraphim Enslavement. Riff goddamn city right here, and the breakdowns are just so sinister and unnerving and brutal all at the same time! I’ve now come to a custom to Rickey’s voice, he’s really sounding good and gives suffo a bit of a different flavor while staying true to who they are. Terence is the goat of the riffs and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon. Fucking hyped for November! 🤘
