OMG! This video brought back so many memories! In 2010, 3 of us started in Glen Allen , self supported, on our touring bicycles and rode to the Denali Hwy, rode the Hwy, and went on to Denali. We then rode the 95 miles to the the back of Denali National Park and camped at Wonder Lake. It was one of the most incredible 2 weeks of my life! The scenery! The wildlife! Like you said, you can’t do it justice with a camera! Absolutely awesome! Thanks for the video!

Hi Dave, I make the trip to the Denali Highway every year. I usually take 3-4 days across from the Cantwell side, I take my time to camp and fish. Then, I go the Glenn Highway to Wasilla and back home to Willow. The lodge in Paxton was called the Paxon Lodge. I worked there as the dishwasher many years ago and the family that owned it were a crazy bunch, always arguing, lol. It was nice to see you making this trip, it is one of the no.1 areas to go. Great hunting as well. Thanks for sharing.

I took an amazing trip when I was 14 with my mom on the back seat of a Honda CRX 500, pulling a loaded trailer with camping gear, clothing, and food rations. We left Iowa first of June headed west to Oregon. We stayed with grandparents and toured around Central Oregon for 3 weeks. We packed back up and toured back to Iowa. We rode in rain for 4 days. It was an amazing time. We sent up camp one night extra early as we got a short break in the weather to dry out our gear. My mom repeated that trip two more times with my sister and brother. My brother got in on Mnt Saint Helen's irruption. That caused some engine issues temporarily until they hit Montana. Mom has been gone 2 years this June. She loved to ride a motorcycle to tour our beautiful country. Us kid's so enjoyed our trip with mom. I truly enjoyed your video. Breath taking country. Happy Summer Adventures 😊

Loved the trip back through memory lane around Delta Junction Dave, I'm currently running a Kawasaki KLR 650 myself. As I sit here at my desk watching your video while making a 6figure income working for the railroad and pullinga 24hr shift, I can't help but feel envious jealous sad and happy all at the same time. Some days I wish I could just chuck it all and just go out wander around and be totally free but then I think, man I've built 1 hell of a retirement for myself and now I'm in a position where I'm only working 15days a month so I've set myself up with a lot more me time to chase my dreams although it may only be 9days at a time, it took me awhileto get to this place in my life. Keep living your dreams and may God continue to bless you and Brooke with good health and many more years of adventures. Hope to run into you both sometime whether it be in Alaska or back in Michigan, would love to share a campfire with you both.

It is true. The camera can not capture even the visuals, let alone the experience.
However, those of us who understand the limitations of the camera, or, better still, the feeling of a similar experience, can extrapolate quite a bit from a photo or video.
    That was an incredible trip.
Thanks for sharing. I always feel like filming for others takes away from my own enjoyment, and I appreciate the sacrifice : )

From there we took the same road you came back on, through Paxson, and stayed at the Lake Louise lodge before heading back to Anchorage. As I was watching the video, I kept telling my wife “I remember that spot!”
