Hi Chad have just purchased the Line 6 Helix and already having difficulty. It doesn't sound great, now its probably down to my lack of knowledge. My output from the Helix goes to a cab, not a power cab, but I do have a signal boost to drive the speakers. Would you be able to video of how to hook up to a cab/power cab and how to set up the signal levels.
Similar issue: I'm running the latest firmware and I think the demo is a previous firmware version. Maybe that's why our Global Settings screen is quite different. But the concepts remain very useful. Thanks.

Hi Chad! I just got a Helix Floor and I’m loving it but I could not find a sustainer in it anywhere. I really need one for a part in one of our songs. My research looking for one led me to you. Rumor has it you might have a solution I can purchase. If this is true, how do I go about obtaining this elusive preset? BTW, thank you for sharing all your knowledge like this.
patch should never clip with volume knob all way up, if so your patch is simply too loud. in fact typical use on stage is to exclude the knob for XLR (so full volume) and control the 1/4 monitor by the knob
Great video my Helix came in yesterday and i'm loving it. Question I use an Parametric Eq on my heavy tone and I want that Eq on all my patches is easy just to setup my Global Eq with that setting so that all my patches have that Eq or does the Global Eq alter the tones too much?
I just got mine and am getting used to things. I have the top row set up for presets and the bottom row set up for snapshots. I've been using snapshots calling them Clean, Dirty, Lead, etc which turn on/off the pedal I need. Have you tried making use of snapshots?

This is really good information, I got some IR's and got some really good patches, everything sounds great but I still feel is a little to much bass in my sound, any tips and how to adjust that, thanks
Art Sal cut the bass to 80hz as a start and then adjust from there Minimum to 70hz - maximum - with my gear I don't need to go any further than 80hz although on one patch I did need to push to 120!!
Global EQ is for taking your great tone ... And making adjustments for the room you are playing... I don't use it mostly... But I will me going a video soon
I noticed you left your sample rate at 48KHz. 98KHz is much better quality sound especially for effects. Or I'm about to be schooled and don't hold back if I am. Cheers 🍻
No problem ... this is only for digital output... page 42 of the manual says -"Determines the sample rate of the Helix S/PDIF and AES/EBU outputs; choose 44.1 kHz (the default), 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, or 96 kHz. When connecting to another device’s S/PDIF or AES/EBU input, make sure both units are set to the same sample rate." which most wont use digital... unless recording in a High-quality studio. At 3.28 I tried on my new unit can't get top row, it says 8 presets and turn knob no top row, anyone can help please

I understood you use interface but isnt Helix an interface already?
yes it is. Nothing else required you can go straight to computer with usb cord
