Yeah when I went to Gateshead i didn't dislike it too much. Definitely won't forget it. For me the worst stadium in the UK is either Stadium MK or Luton Towns training ground. Stadium MK is not a football ground. It's a soulless bowl with a football pitch attacked to it. Lutons training ground (home to Crawley Green FC) is everything I dislike about non league grounds. I'm so glad I only went there once. Never again (unless my team get relegated or they get promoted).
Stadium is way too big for the club in my opinion, The ground looks great but it’s way too big for Gateshead especially considering there average attendance is very low
Reminds me of Molineux in the mid 1980's when Wolves were on the slide and would get very small crowds of around 3,000 Just one stand open and miles from the pitch.
Northampton away end was 💩 there was a literal metal fence (like what you see on building sites) at the very top at the back, that you weren’t allowed to lean on. Which seemed… not safe… There was no running in water in the girls toilets, and the men’s toilets were flooded apparently. Alsooo it’s in what can only be described as a crater, so locals just sit on the hill around the stadium to watch the match😂 why pay £25 for a ticket when you can watch for free?
Thanks for having me on the video! Was great to have you at the GIS and glad you enjoyed it 🙌 see you in London, may the best man win 🤝
Always a pleasure to have you on pal! See you in London! 🫡

With all the fans packed into one stand you can actually get a decent atmosphere at least.
Try sitting in the uncovered seats with the rain pouring down in the away end.Worst ground in the National League.
This stadium reminds me of Darlington Arena, too big for a non league team.
iv'e been to that ground a few times along time ago. must admit i like the ground. great video 😄

Well that is true even now at Wolves the main stand the Billy Wright and the Steve Bull stand the stand opposite are miles from the pitch ?

Sounds like one for the bucket list…not 😂
Was a great stadium back in the day for pop/ rock concerts
wincanton
Seen a lot worse. Need to get around a bit more. Get down South and see the dung grounds down there.
Name me some and I may do a follow up! 😁
Stinking lousy background racket so pointless and totally distracting 😊
I’m guessing you’re talking about the background music at the start? 😂
