    mongo command doesn't run in the latest release, kindly use mongosh

    As of now, mongo is not working. You need to use mongod --version to see the version, and to start the mongo, you need to do mongosh

    mongo --version is not displaying anything its saying that mongo command not found

      As @Imma_BatMan mentioned, mongosh should be used instead of mongo (it was replaced starting from Mongodb version 6.0)

    I installed the mongodb like u said from brew but when I type mongo --version it gives command not found error

      since 6.0 mongo was replaced by mongosh - so try writing mongosh instead of mongo

    My software is already updated but still showing to update the software now am currently using macOS 14.0

    brew install mongodb-community@6.0
    Error: Cannot install under Rosetta 2 in ARM default prefix (/opt/homebrew)!
    To rerun under ARM use:
    arch -arm64 brew install ...
    To install under x86_64, install Homebrew into /usr/local. hey bro I am getting this error, please help. My life is on the line

      arch -arm64 brew install mongodb-community@6.0 this command fixed it

    Please create a new installation

    I can run brew services start mongodb-community@6.0 but when i run mongo it's said zsh: command not found: mongo

      @@AyushAgrawal-10 mongo command is depreciated now if you have installed @7.0 use mongosh and it will work ... hope it helps

    Bhaiya I am from Civil. My cgpa is really low and I can't see it rising in the coming few sems. Subjects acchi nhi lagti, problems banti nhi. This is 5th sem. How much would cgpa matter for off campus hiring and internships and what can I do to overcome any problem?

      I got the solution. Somehow install mangodb using lates version (v^6.2.0) can't connect, so i try using mangodb v3.6.9 and solved@@HelloWorldbyprince
