Sir, I think the military are better to go and deal decisively with the kidnapping, insurgency and Boko Haram. One of the problems that cause hunger in Nigeria is insecurity. The ministry of defence has been attracting a lion share of the Nigerian budget since 1999, but insecurity has been increasing, rather than decreasing.

They will try as usual to infiltrate the protesters with their armed thugs, touts and hoodlums to claim anarchy so as to justify their blood thirst to kill innocent protesters but it won't happen. Nigerians will protest and the heavens will not fall. His paymaster protested against a sitting President Jonathan so why is Tinubu affraid and is ensuring all his paid stooges in both the military and civilian populace are out as attack dogs to drum war for a simple peaceful protest by the Nigerian citizens? Abeg, let them go and face boko haram terrorists and bandits and fulani terrorists herders who are the main cause of high cost of foodstuff in the markets. This is leaving substance to chase shadows.

Sir I call you because you deserve that title. The way and manner you responded to this interview showed you are a world standard military man. You didn't show any military intimidating gestures, you were not arrogant, you were not forceful, you were calm and very articulate and you have a lot of wisdom. You just behaved like a typical American and a british military. Keep it up sir buba, I pray one day you will become COAS. And when you become it we will have a better military.

It was Kenya that shadowed Nigeria and not the other way round. Unfortunately Ruto did not learn and stay on the side of the peaceful young protesters and copied the lekki massacre model

So this officer does not think that the hunger and anger of Nigerians is sufficient to cause a protest? Why must the authorities automatically suspect sinister hijackers? I did not know that we had such silly reasoning amongst people in authority!

This woman is intelligent... This particular protest is different because everybody is feeling the heat, i am disappointed at this Oga, if Nigerians are hungry and frustrated why do you feel that the protest is backed by opposition and other agencies as you mentioned? It is appalling that almost eveybody under this government seem to be walking dead when defending their pay master ...

Whoever discourages peaceful protests in these horrible times in Nigeria, is either a bribe taker or a thief.
