Sempiternal will always one of my strongest albums to be attached to in our time.
Agreed, it blew me away in 2012 and still does in 2023.
That's when BMTH went from any other metalcore band to a real show stopper, in my opinion. Truly their breakout album.

Far out these guys have come a long way lol. I remember seeing them in 2008 supporting 'I Killed The Prom Queen' at the Roundhouse in Sydney. Didn't think at the time they'd end up playing stadiums.

The ultimate coming of age song for BMTH entires catalog: a perfect sum of the bands sound over the course of a beautiful career up to that point - the breakdowns of "suicide season" and the dark, occultist-like ambience and roaring chords from "there's a hell". new melodic, electronic component when Oliver started singing with jordan fisher. A seasoned screaming voice of a decade of deathcore and metalcore fads resulting into his own thing, and again setting the standard of what the genre should be.

@@danwheeler02 Yes, Jordan sings ”we’re going nowhere”, but Oli has lipsynced the chorus since 2014 and just recently changed the playback track to another one. His mic either turns off during the chorus or he just moves is mouth.
@@elliot245 wasnt his voice absolutely fucked around that time due to screaming too much in a non proper way? Its a while back but i remember there even being talk about permanent damage to his vocal cords if he kept doing what he was doing.
