- Hey Everyone! I decided my rent is way too much money, the apartment is too big and my car is too small for full time living as a mobile massage therapist with a dog.
So I decided to buy a fifth wheel camper to renovate and move into! I plan on doing a bunch of car camping as the weather gets warmer here in Canada, so stay tuned for all the things.

Grease the wheel bearings as soon as possible. Love your idea of saving rent money. It works if you have a place to park the camper. Your family is wonderful.

Ok few pointers for ya , i fix rv's for a living and see the 2 lights on front top leak alot and 5 across the top of rear end. Seal them with a product called proflex on sides and top of each light ( not the bottom in case water gets in it can get out n not go inside) also 90 % of electrical stuff is battery related even if its plugged in they work together if batteries over 3 yrs old replace it and do your roof sealing because if not everything u do inside is a waste if its leaking..........and most important dont use flex seal on the exterior of the camper ANYWHERE !!!! if u have questions during remodel feel free to reply to this n ill answer the techy crap i actually went to school to fix em . Since I've already used flex seal on the roof of my camper last fall I need to ask what is wrong with the product? Hope I didn't do an oh oh.
@@stevec2665 I made the mistake of buying some in the pint can and putting it on my Class b a few years ago. I removed all the old OEM cracked sealer with a chisel and utility knife. The not so flexible "Flex Seal" pretty much all cracked and needs to be redone. Dicor self leveling roof sealant comes highly recommended and is what I'm using these dayzzz.

That is a nice rig! Once your tiny house is finished, then you can put both of those on your 100 acres and VRBO/Airbnb them out for a wilderness retreat!

Hello Mrs. Juliana and Brother Happy Birthday to you both I just found your channel and Love your choice of the 5th wheel I've owned 2 5th wheels and 2 truck campers and 1 Drive Rv and 1 Bus so I'm eager to see what you do and where you go and what Ideas you come up with I will say this though PRO tips is to Dry camp your Home Jug all water and put bowls in your sinks and Fill your water jug out side don't bring the water hose in the house at all Drop your water hose in the last warm month you have so that you get a full dry month to get your tanks dry and get space heaters every 4ft and 2 fans so that you can circulate the air I'd Not use the Roof top ac as it can cause you problems and Seal up your Sky lights as those will cause you Leaks

Dehumidifier, roll of reflective insulation and sewer tabs are priceless when living in a camper.

I would put on a new keyless door lock. You will be glad you did. I wish they had them when I was using my RV years ago! Also when it is cold use you propane as little as possible be cause of condensation. I wish I would have know that as well. God bless you.

I hope you take the plastic disc off the king pin before you put the goose neck adapter on . It needs metal to metal contact .
Hi Juliana I'm 5 hours south of Toronto down in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania USA I come to Toronto occasionally I made a semi 53 foot fifth wheel trailer into tiny living 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms I love it....
Wait wait wait here. I was watching the newer renovation videos on this trailer instead of starting this from the beginning. I thought that trailer was in bad shape and needed a full on renovation but it looked like this and it was torn apart? Other than the vinyl floor that was upgraded to the nicer wood floors, this was an already nice trailer to begin with! I would of just spent that money on solar panels and a bigger battery storage.

Years ago I went through a divorce and my friends parents had property with a 40’ fifth wheel on a Indian reservation. It had three tip outs even had a washer and dryer. I rented it for two years and loved it. Your new home is amazing Congratulations.

@@golforfishing nope it had a propane heater that worked great. It also has an electric fire place that I used to heat the place to save on propane. Even in the snow it never got cold.
WOW that looks a lot better than living in a Car or Van,plus site is the outlay is there you just have to clean it and fix it.
Make it more 2022 instead of 1980 !!! Wish you all the best and goodluck with fixing it !!!
