- When a sudden downpour of rain happens in the Philippines, it can vary in intensity and duration depending on the weather system affecting the area. Rainfall can be heavy and persistent, leading to localized flooding in low-lying areas, particularly in urban areas with inadequate drainage systems. This can cause inconvenience, traffic congestion, and disruptions to daily activities. This gives also opportunity for children to play on a flooded road despite the risk of health issues.
The best childhood. Love to see kids having fun. Not a care in the world, no cell phones and no social media. Very good for one's mental health.
Very true. I used to be one of those kids growing up in southern Philippines and I wouldn't have it any other way .
In America, this would be considered a flood disaster like Katrina. But in this country, the people there consider it a blessing.
This is the best kind of weather! Would love to visit to experience this, with my raincoats of course lol
This is kinda like when it snows heavy when I was living in New Jersey. This heavy rain is just like it in the sense that it's a pain in the butt for the adults to deal with, but the kids are having a blast.
Idk, I’m an adult and I love the heavy rain. The heavier the better for me lol
My wife here in Lima complains about two drops of rain that falls once a year😂😂😂
🤣🤣
I remember riding on a pedal powered trike in Manila during one of those rainstorms. Totally crazy experience. Amazing video!
Thank you for watching
You have done great job my friend, beautiful video and i loved it
Thank you very much!
@@WalkingEcho your very welcome

Beutiful rain
brought back my childhood years while in Manila....love it. Thank you this is so refreshing for the soul!
I'm Brazilian, congratulations for video
Thank You❤❤
Those electrical lines are terrifying and incredible
WOW! Lightning plus water everywhere plus people out on the streets plus wet power lines,….nice 😂
do not think i will ever complain about the rain in the usa again after this lol
We note that the children like it when it rains heavily, for one thing they have free shower 😂😊
a free shower? do you know what stuff is washed out of the air there?
Kids are enjoying rain😊😊
I cant imagine the humidity after this. then the bugs from all the stagnant small pools of water. this is where sqwaller starts.
i enjoy the raining videos best
Glad you like them!
Perfect
The water in the streets doesn’t look particularly muddy in comparison to what you see in other flood videos and the current was within the range the kids can handle. I encountered a couple situations in the past couple days I would not dare cross or play in a stream because there was way more water than you can “handle”. It is important to know when “too much is too much” and experience really helps. That rule applies to when you are going to a beach where there are big waves and rip currents.
Yes. It's not muddy
..ñ
i guess that the mud is not the problem but the trash is it. just imagine there is a trash bag and a glass bottle in it which breakes. that will be very "good" for children to walk in broken glass!🤕
this country so wild i wish i lived there
Very cute children but it's very dangerous for them to stroll in the streets when there is thunder storms.
It's the way of life there. I used to be one of those kids 20 years ago. They bring those kids tough and hardy in the Philippines and we wouldn't have it any other way. Plus it boost your immune system to the max. That's why I never get sick.
@@user-ml2lk7dy7k Ah ! Ah !Ah ! It boost your immune system !.
Tru dat. Filo kids R born and bred tough 💪.@@user-ml2lk7dy7k
Even in Gangnam, South Korea has floods.
Happy time❤
One inch of rain or snow in the uk and the whole country panics and comes to a standstill . The government wouldnt know what to do if this happened. Love and Respect to you all in Philippines from Scotland 🙏 💛
This is a regular event in the Philippines. If it's happens in the UK every year, the UK would eventually get used to it one way or another.
Scotland should implement the Bahala Na - Strategy of Filipinos :D haha
in my city dhaka, this intensity rain fell sometimes.sometimes over 300 mm in 6 hours.but this type of flooding with so much water current never happened in my city.i think the roads here are sloping that makes the water current so strong.
子供達が楽しそうで羨ましいw
日本じゃありえない光景w
Philippines sweltering all day long, You can't blame the kids getting outside trying to cool off 😀
😁😁😁the kids look happy.
As an Indonesian, we call it mandi hujan (rain bath). My childhood.😅😅😅
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
i remember as a kid i enjoyed floods.
now i just worry about my house and my furnitures getting ruined lol.
that looks like prime flotation raft fun 😀
Its a tropical country. They should catch that rainwater on reservoirs to alleviate water shortages. There are times there is no water to fight fires.
I have always wondered if it has any effect on these motorbikes driving through water
Im Your New Subscriber bro 🤗💞
This is a great video to watch love it 😀
Where is this in the Philippines? Yes it matters.
Quezon City Metro Manila
Love the video, but what the bloody hell was the bucket for collecting water?😆😀😇🥰
Wash their feet after the flood subside 😂😁
Lmao
Nice video......
¿ Cuál es la temperatura ambiental durante la grabación del video ?.
When this happens it's usually around 25°C to 29°C
@@lasttime500 O.K Gracias.
Wow, those power lines or is it communication wires @ 2:48 look like a spider web.
I’m glad that I don’t have to sort them out in case they get torn down by accident.
That's dangerous.......In the US they would've called this a state of emergency.
It only lasts for half an hour. The rain is so intense that the current drainage or whatever is left of it struggles to manage the water
Eu amo chuva.
Why so sloppy power lines ? How long did the flood last ?
They are mostly Internet and phone lines. It is not really a flood rather, the drainage system struggles to cope with sudden heavy rainfall. Typically, within 20 minutes, the water recedes, providing enough time for some children to get excited about the temporary water presence.
They need a surf board......:)
😂🤣
TENHO MEDO DE VENTOS E RAIOS , E AÍ PARECE QUE NÃO ESTÃO COM MEDO , AQUI NO BRASIL O PAÍS É CAMPEÃO EM INCIDÊNCIA DE QUEDAS DE RAIOS SERÁ QUE O POVO AÍ NÃO TEM MEDO???? QUAL A INCIDÊNCIA DE QUEDA DE RAIOS AÍ NAS FILIPINAS?????

Imagine living in America 😂
🇺🇸 I’m still wondering why are these people outside in the rain especially people driving
Monsoon heavy rains, such as this, often occur after several days of sweltering and humid conditions. When the rain starts falling, it brings instant relief, and everyone kids and adults welcome the sensation of cold weather. This instance doesn't last long, the sky drops everything and abruptly stops. Thank you for watching
@@WalkingEcho🇺🇸 thank you for your enlightenment
I wonder how many kids lose their shoes
Kids are happy to chase their floating slippers on flood😆
Should thank the rain for cleaning up the streets...so dont complain people...enjoy the rain n suffer the consequences...choke all the drainage n want to complain...what to expect..the rain dont give face to anyone...it is doing its Job
Damp!
WEATHER ALERT!!!
USA 🇺🇸 = Stay indoors and avoid flash floods
Philippines 🇵🇭 = Kids put on your flip flops and go outside to play 🤣🤣🤣
Go play in a flash flood. And when you get in trouble, DO NOT CALL for help with your foolish self. YOU put 1st responders at risk when you do that. I tell ya, some folks in USA are that stUpid.
子供達は楽しそうだな(笑)
It's not 4k video
Well I mean this is kind of a good thing it cleans the street I'm pretty sure it was really nasty
i would allow my children to play outside when there is lightning and all the dirty water is flowing around.
hydro electric power plants are the way to go here.

The Philippines is like the sponge of Asia. Anytime a typhoon goes through Asia the Philippines almost always gets hit.
It's kind of like hurricanes and the Caribbean.
Or Kansas and Twisters.

I've never heard of anyone being struck by lightning in the metro, but it does happen in the provinces.

I’m guessing this is normal?
Not Really, Monsoon rain comes unexpectedly, which is why so many people are helplessly caught off guard in the rain while kids are overjoyed because getting wet offers a respite from the sweltering Philippines heat.
What a nightmare, watch out for turds!

It's in the middle of the Pacific. Rain is part of life.
This is kinda like when it snows heavy when I was living in New Jersey. This heavy rain is just like it in the sense that it's a pain in the butt for the adults to deal with, but the kids are having a blast.
No point in worrying as a kid when you have that your whole life.
