In my country Cyprus when it’s raining the streets are dead nobody comes out of their houses ,it’s really superb to watch these people walking or playing in the rain!

@@indorailfans2532 I'm from the Philippines, and the weather here is hot and humid unless it rains. We only have two seasons in the Philippines: Summer or dry season and Rainy season.

I live in a part of the world where the rain is usually very cold. So I love that these kids can actually go outside and play in the warmer rain storms.
Even though the water is dirty they’re having fun
I love the fact that this happens so regularly that people just get on with it and adapt. I live in a place where this doesn’t happen, so this would probably ruin my whole millennium.
I think kids love the flood. Especially when the heavy rains come, they anticipate it

I remember the heavy rain all too well, was driving my Vios and some places were SO inundated that we actually got stuck trying to get BACK out! Smart of some homes to build raised platforms, the rain can wreak havoc on the engine.
I have been this the Philippines and to be honest I love the way there's greenery and plants everywhere to beautify the place, even the poor areas look beautiful. We take life too seriously in this country.
Nice eh. You want to be in the place after the storm has passed. The rainy season lasts for months but by some miracle the people still survive.
I will be bringing this to discussions with families & friends. This is the most exciting new addition attraction since my exposure to events in the PH,s.

The weather here is usually hot specially in Metro Manila so every time there's a rain like this, it's refreshing and play time for the kids and some adults.🙂

When watching this video I suspect that the rain storm must be on the warm side and not a cold rain, because so many people are soak and wet just walking around in the rain.
DPWH ang may problema dito. Kailangan maayos ang mga baradong drainage. This is a very dangerous place kung hindi sila gagalaw. Huwag pabayan.
Tama, madaling mabaha talaga sa may mababang bahagi ng Signal Village. Siguro sa drainiage nga may problema. Pero once naman na huminto na ang ulan nawawala kagad ang tubig baha.
Mga tao mismo ang problema hndi dpwh..basura saan2 tinatapon nag ca-cause ng bara sa drainage kaya binabaha..
Linisin ninyo ang drainahe ninyo sigurado puro basura yan.

My children loved to play in the rain. Now my daughter is a grandmother who when I asked to speak to the, she said Mom it's raining, they love you, but the big puddles await them. I reminded her to have a warm bath for them, so they can drink their hot chocolate. Warming up from the inside to outside. I didn't forget, just waiting for their shivering bodies, to yell for a towel. Playing in the rain, jumping in puddles is a blast.

@@nash1139 Flood waters have always been dangerous in history. Why do you think that humans eventually built plumbing systems? Flood waters are destructive. They cause power outages, destroy structures, damage plumbing, destroy crops. The water itself carries lots of bacteria, disease, chemicals, viruses, sewage. If you're playing in flood water you are either stupid or just don't know any better.
I see that most of you, the viewers, don't understand how bad is the situation. This is simply a terrible flood in a poor part of the city! These people need help, not jokes!

As a kid I also used to play like this in the flood and rain but now I advise against it as it's very dirty and you can catch some illness or something

When I saw the thumbnail for this video I was sure it was clickbait and photoshopped. But I had to click to make sure.
All I can say is wow. On the one hand, what a lovely glimpse of joyful street life. On the other... how can streets like this be tolerated? Anyone who lives on the first floor risks flooding. Traffic can't get through, deliveries can't be made. If an ambulance was required, then what? That's before we consider what could be flowing in the water. Cut your foot on something you can't see, you could catch a serious disease.
Better to live in a place that rains too much, than a place that doesn't rain enough.
