i think you’re very talented and the video was very helpful in its first quarter. From one point on (precisely after you created the sketch layer) you started to accelerate the video and giving less and less explanations. I realize that, you being an artist, many things are obvious to you, but maybe they’re not for those who are really starting in drawing. I mean, when you create a tutorial, one essential thing is to take your time in order to make your message and your techniques clear. So, i think this video is partially helpful, but i really think that this is far from being beginner friendly. It’s a little missed opportunity :(

I agree 100%. I'd be trying to follow along with one instruction and then suddenly he'd have glossed over all these details having full eyes and eye lashes, meanwhile I'm still trying to work out how to disable the mirror mode. He goes back and forth on a bunch of things as well. He's a great artist, but not that great of a teacher IMO. Quite a bit to improve on there, I think.

Honestly, the brushes really do not make a difference in line art. I suggest under “sketching” use anything there, 6B pencil, procreate pencil or technical pencil. You will be changing the thickness anyway. Brushes do come in to play during coloring for different textures
Drawing the face is no problem but the eyes and hair are causing some problems 😬
This was very helpful and worked for the face an all but did you draw the hairlines? Because I wanted to do a different hair for this.

The symmetry tool doesn’t seem to work for me. I have the settings as yours and it just won’t mirror what I draw. It worked for a few minutes until my app froze and I had to restart it. When I went back in the symmetry tool wasn’t working properly. If I turn on “assisted drawing” it mirrors my circles very weirdly.

I´m sorry to say that, but this is the worst tutorial i have ever seen. First, I dont even know which pencil i should use. Second, the lines part were pretty good, but you completely skipped the sketch part and all the pencils and the settings. So basically i have nothing. Dont call that "beginner friendly", because it isnt.

That s shitty, “let s make the hair” and u just speed up, how am I gonna know how to do it if I m an beginning, u didn’t say the brush, u use other things for the lines after the sketch, only thing that rlly helps it was the face lines in the sketch, the firsts minutes in the vid… next time take time and explain what u re doing and how, if u don t , then stop making turorials for beginners:)

what pens are the best to use on procreate?
i find myself only using the standard peppermint, Derwent and procreate pencil. (im only starting out)

Hi i use the “procreate pencil” under the sketch brush set that comes with procreate itself. :)
He uses Technical Pencil and adjusts thickness for lashes. Procreate Pencil for everything else
Listen, you had me. I stayed three minutes deep of just you talking before we got to the drawing because I believed. And we got the base face down! But you skipped the f%#% through drawing hair and sketching details and the eyes like c’mon man that’s not beginner

This is one of the worst tutorials I have ever seen
Very great tutorial! The only thing I'd change is how often you fast-forward. It makes it hard to follow the detailed parts of your work.

It was an awesome video! I learned some new tips, but when you accelerated through the sketch portion and you got to making th eyelashes, the details were much different than the procreat pencil lining. I was trying to figure out how you made the eyelashes like that. Also my brush doesnt fade out like yours and I'm youtubing trying to see different tips. Xo thank you for your video

Great video ! Are the eyes and eyelashes on the female drawn and filled using the same brush and adjusting the size ? Or different brushes altogether?
