Thank you very much for this tutorial video. After 19 years of detailing cars, I’ve now received a contract to detail new and used motorcycles 😳. All the best 🇬🇧
I am not a bike guy, but its always a great thing to see your videos, advices, details, clear speech, Sandro! Thanks to you my car has all stages of CarPro done by myself and I am very happy to live with. Great thanks for your videos and for another good one! Take care and please make new videos!!! Greetings fro Sweden.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing I think because most people watching detailing videos do it for their own car. I'm a mobile detailer, I'm always looking to expand my services and want to add motorcycles to my list...I just want to make sure I do it safely and correctly because I've never detailed one before.
Another meticulous video. I do enjoy watching them and getting new ideas on detailing and products. If you get a chance could you please do a vid on cleaning a interior roof lining and also the best way to clean all clothes and what is the best way. Great job 🚗.
FYI :- On the frame, in front of the back wheel and where the swing arm pivot bolt crosses the centreline you can see a square cut out, and below that an oval filled cut out with a tiny drilled hole. That hole goes straight into the where the swing arm bolt is, and if you do not cover it while washing the bolt cavity tube fills with water and the bolt festers and corrodes. This swingarm does not have greased bearings, it has rubber bushes that flex, so it is less critical, but the swing arm bolt needs anti corrosion grease and protecting from that water ingress regardless.
How cool is this bike? It is very gorgeous! I am a fellow Honda rider and love to ride it as much as I am able. I hope you are enjoying yours as well. This series is where I dig in and really learn a lot. It seems like my Honda has rather soft paint and I have reserved doing a polish because, honestly, until now I have not found very many trusted detailer uploads about doing an enhancement. Congrats on one hell of an immaculate Z-series bike!
Nice video Sandro. Just one thing though... you should probably give your chain a thorough clean with kero or chain cleaner and then use a protection wax/lube on it, as you've probably removed some of the chain lube that was on it... or is that part of the next vid? Also, you're welcome to come to Adelaide and give my MV F4 a deep clean... for your RUclips channel of course 😂
dammit, now I need a friend to lend me a bike to clean. Great video, although I was really hoping to get to see you protect all of the components of the bike, guess ill have to wait for the next video.
Fuel cap question! If you stand behind the bike and lower down till your view is level with the filler, is yours sitting level with the tank surfaces? Mine was lower on the right rear!!!! To get it right, I had to fit a thin spacer washer to the right rear screw. NB. Only the front screw and two rear screws need to be removed.
Hey, kind of random question but you used a bottle in the video you did on the no wash bucket method with labels on the bottom. I've been obsessing over moving all my products into spray bottles like that. How do you make these labels? Also I love your channel and dream of owning a shop like yours some day. You and APEX are my favorite detailing channels and I just wish you'd come out with more videos!
Just keep it off the seat and instrumentation gauges, make sure the bike is cool and in a shaded place and rinse it off before it fully drys and you’ll be fine.
If I use alcohol to clean chain grease from my swing arm on the yellow paint of my Monkey, will it damage the paint in the long term? It rips through the grease, and evaporated quickly, but I am worried. I don’t get the bike wet if I can help it, and clean it by taking parts off and wiping them with ACF50
OMG I BOUGHT MOTORCYCLE RECENTLY AND THIS HELPS A LOT!!
Great work Sandro, very informative.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Best looking prestine Monkey on RUclips 👍 I love the tank designs on the 3 different "year groups"
love the yellow mk2 aswell as
*..Mark3 I mean, this years one even though tank has no yellow in it..
This weekend is awesome! First I get to see a video from the car cleaning guru and now a cracking new one from Sandro. Thank you sir.👏👍

I was just looking for this kind of tutorial last month. I'm surprised at how few motorcycle detailing videos there are.

Awesome Video Sandro can't wait to see the other vids on your sweet ride.

Nice! The first thing I done with my monkey was put the caramics ceramic coating on it, seems to have worked really well

Once again Sandro great video 👍
Well looks like its time to rename the shop

Great video.
Is the seat made of genuine leather? Or did you just cover it to not let it get wet?
I own a Ducati monster 1200 s and thinking of using iron remover, Is there parts you suggest not to apply on? Thanks

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing noted, thank you.
How about matte carbon fiber parts is it safe or you advise to avoid them
It’s fine on matte paint, plastics and fibre based trims.
I just loveto watch Washing bikes

Also, can you use IPA on matte/satin painted bike?
Yes
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thank you!
I really enjoy cleaning my bike.. now i just need about a £1000 spare money to buy all the equipment you just used😥
Is IPA on the bike not dangerous? Not 100% but assuming alcohol is flammable?
You mix it 1 part with 4 parts distilled or deionised water, no danger there I’ve been using it for decades.
Can you use iron removal on plastics?
Yes
Tornado!
your videos are so pacifying!
this video has absolutely no purpose when the bike was already spotless lmao
Where is your shop?
and now go out and ride it thru the muddy woods...
*TORNODOOO*
Turkey does not come to😭😭🤦🏻♂️
Never wash a bike Like a car.
Sandro won't say it but I will, you are a knob. 😁
