I bought a 2K resin printer about 3 years ago and I can count on my fingers how many times I have used it, this is due to the smell of the resin and the mess, however, the low odour water washable resin is no good for me as I only use that resin printer for using the ABS-like resin for functional parts that need a little more resolution than my FDM machines can achieve in a reasonable print time.
It doesn't bother me, and I like how for small parts its IMO easier to set up without having to do crazy bed tramming. Just ensure the plate is flat, pour in the fluid, and go.
Ok, explain to me how washing it in the sink is harmful? And then let's assume I washed it in a bucket of water. Where do you think that water would wind up? That's right, I'd either dump it down the sink or directly down the sewer or onto the ground.
@@3rdpig Resins are toxic and cause water pollution. Fill the resin contaminated water in large closed bottles and dispose of them correctly at a recycling center.
@@3rdpig Your supposed to let the resin cure in the water then dump the water and seperate the resin out. Once cured the resin is safe but if uncured it's incredibly toxic. Why would you want that in your ground water, sink or water systems? Very irresponsible.
I don't think your supposed to wash them in the sink. I think you supposed to treat the waste water as contaminated. I mean It doesn't bother me, but eco warriors might complain. Great video (I also didn't see a problem with the last). Keep up the good work.

I've had a resin printer for about 3 years too and I agree, the resin itself is the main reason I don't use it often.

After seeing your review I purchased it.
I had issues using PayPal for checkout but a debit card worked fine.
Great! I think you'll like it.
I feel like it would be better to just get The Mars 3 for $130
don't wash it in the sink 💀

The solution to pollution is dilution. Let the haters hate. Thanks for watching and commenting!
