I found the video very instructive and a great help. I photographed an antique bookstore for one year and things that happen there.... your advices are very useful! Thanks a lot.
Awesome info I have mountains of images from my film days through my current days as a press photographer I print very few of my own personal photos and it sucks I did a wee book in 2011 a collection of black and white shots from our regions rugby scene to this day I get a buzz looking through that book far more satisfaction than anything I put online. I will make a book with Blurb if for no other reason than to have my work presented in that format. Awesome video Daniel thanks 📷
I am loving this content, BLURB + Dan! So helpful, so good and inspiring. Dan is such a great teacher. On to view the next video! Keep it coming...Thanks!

This is so good. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, Dan! You’ve answered plenty of questions which I had been wondering about. Looking forward to more! Greetings from Germany, Chris
Hi. You say in 58:10 that one text page explanation caused people to tell you the picture was 10 times better, and those people were not consuming stories or documentaries, just the picture, so I wander why many photo books dont use text or why documentary books neither use. I believe it depends on the goal, if to inform or to create emotions thr art. Is there subcategories for documentary books with and without text?

How to keep caption less distracting? Avoid using Black on your font, use a lighter gray color for your font. Try as light as you can tolerate.
Do you think that is fine to combine 2 different format? Square pictures and rectangular?
Robert Frank shot 27,000, not 72,000, images for the Americans and edited them down to 83, not 53.
